  1. Am I just mis-remembering or last year did TW have have a December Christmas deal where every day there was a different item on a big sale?
  2. Hoping someone here with more experience than I with fluorocarbon can advise me here. First question, if I were to rig up a reel with say 15 pound FC in the spring and do not use it at all that year could i just take it out and use it the next year with no problem? I guess the concern would be with all the memory setting in having sat on the spool so long? Would a lot of KVD line conditioner fix it? Secondly, in the same scenario as above what if that next year I wanted to put a totally different line on that spool/reel. Is it just a given that I would have to trash the original FC or could I salvage it for future use by taking it off the reel and putting it back on the spool it came on? I know I can do this with braid but that may be because of the no memory thing. Thanks
  3. I think I want to try these mustads. There are two sizes a 7 mm and a 10 mm. If I plan on using them 5" stick baits which size do I want to order?
  4. Something like this is what I was looking for! Both have different sizes available. If 99% of the time I would be using a 5 inch senko, Trick worm or Dinger what size is ideal to get for both?
  5. https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/owner-weedless-wacky-hooks-model-5172 I use these in 2/0 but a 1/0 would be fine too.
  6. No, it was something like this but I am pretty sure it was NOT this particular one someone posted on here but it was a slightly different design. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Frenzy_Baits_Wacky_Saddle_Replacement_O-Rings_25pk_/descpage-WACORG.html
  7. When using a wacky rig I like to do it differently than some people. Imagine a senko is sitting North to South, most guys just put the hook in the side where it is going East to West. If you us a single O-ring the hook then goes North to South too. I like my hook going East to West so in the past I have used 2 O-rings and make an X out of them you can get the hook to go East to West without having the pierce the worm. A few months ago on here I think someone posted a new item that allowed the hook to go like that with just one rubber ring that was just designed differently but for the life of me I cannot find it again. Any ideas?
  8. Going to try fishing a jerkbait for the first time this spring. Bought a few Vision 110's yesterday with the TW sale. I've got a Dobyns Fury 705CB rod that says jerkbaits on the rod as use for it so I figured I would be good to go. Well... I was watching a jerkbait video last night and they were talking about the problems with using a crankbait rod to fish a jerkbait. He talked about how a lot of crankbait rods (and my Dobyns is certainly like this) are so slow with a whippy tip (which helps keeping a fish from throwing the treble hook bait) that when you rip on it you do not get crisp, erratic stop and starts. It's so slow you more or less just kind of pull it because the action of the rod absorbs so much. Being familiar with this rod I could certainly see how this could be the case. Does anyone have any experience fishing a jerkbait with such a moderate actioned crank rod? I would imagine it would be great once you've got a fish on the line to keep it from throwing the hooks but you have to get them to bite first! LOL
  9. Yes on the Vision 110
  10. I waited till the minute it started because they had advertised half off some Vision 110's all to long in 5 minutes after it starts to see the literally only had 1 color available LOL
  11. Yes and I never got a straight answer. They alluded to this and that. That's why I was hoping someone would be able to give personal testimony one way or the other.
  12. I'd like to know this stuff too. I want to order a Curado DC and all the people told me IF there was a price break I would not see it until AFTER I paid for it, not in the cart. I'd obviously like to know before I press the no turning back button LOL
  13. Why am I not seeing any of the prices adjusted in my wish list? Would I only see it once in my cart?
  14. Is 99% of the big online fishing sales on Black Friday or do some not start until Cyber Monday being that you are online? I'm just trying to figure out if I can try to blow my fishing money tomorrow or if I should hold some back in case Monday holds some good stuff too?
  15. I'll go with your recommendation yet again. Looking forward to ordering the Quantum Tour KVD TKVD706MB you recommended me tomorrow!
  16. I assume you smear it on soft plastics, jigs and such. Do you also apply it to hard baits like lipless and the like? Could it mess up the paint/finish on it?
  17. If I am not looking for a particular scent is the Original the way to go?
  18. Not the entire store.... Tried to order a Curado DC and some Megabass stuff and it is on the exclusion list. Confirmed it with their customer service too.
  19. Wanted to add a new top water to my TW for this weekend and I ran across two good looking offerings from River2Sea. One was called the Bubble Popper and the other the Bubble Walker. Both look good and have pretty similar designs and I just wanted to see if anyone had any one the water experience with either that might help me to decide which to try?
  20. Because of the big slit in a super fluke (and not a solid body to run a hook through) I don't think you can use it as you are intending.
  21. Bone or black for me
  22. What would you say the effective depth of a 110 is? Would the 110+1 offer more of a universal use if it covers a larger range of depths?
  23. I figured but their site was the only one showing that designation. Thanks for the answer!
  24. Checking out their Vision 110s is there a difference between what I have come to expect as a Vision 110 and what they have listed as the "ito" Vision 110?
