  1. Heck I could too...lol. Maybe we should get in on the Toledo Bend tourney March 7-9. We may even be able to do better than last...lol! ?
  2. Just look at it as you gave her more the inside scoop...lol. I mean you did pick her team too right? ?
  3. Howdy Walter and welcome to our fishing family! Best of luck to you in achieving your goals! ?

  10. I know you can go to Rat L Trap online and order their company logo shirts(tees and longsleeve) some of them are pretty cool. You can probably go to your favorite gear, bait/lure, etc. websites and order their shirts as well. I would think most companies have them, at least the bigger names anyways. Plus as @JustJames said you can find some tournament style shirts in the gear section(in the menu) of this forum and support Bass Resource. I plan to get me one as soon as I have the extra cash. Now that I'm working again, I'm hoping that won't be very long. ?
  11. I haven't gotten to watch any of it. I have been able to keep up with the leaderboard though. I'm playing the Fantasy Fishing thing for the first time and it's pretty fun so far. However it would be more fun to get to watch it too. Gotta work thankfully. I'm off Sunday, so hopefully I'll be able to watch it on my phone then, if it will load up. My team thus far is in the top 25 with one of my guys in the top 10. My team consists of Mark Daniels Jr., Randy Howell, Justin Lucas, Brett Hite and Wesley Strader. ?
  12. I'm very pleased with Day 2. Day 1 had my team all within the top 53. Day 2 has them all in the top 25. I feel pretty good that they'll make the top 12 cut tomorrow, as long as they keep doing what they're doing. Wish I could keep up better with watching it. Only the weigh in was live yesterday and my signal sucked so I couldn't watch it. I kept up with the leaderboard though. Today I was working during all of it and tomorrow will be the same. I was happy to see the leaderboard results today when I got home from work. My team had moved up decently. Hope I get to watch Sunday. Good luck tomorrow everyone! ? P.S. I'm ranked #3 in the BR group. Yay!
  13. Well I'm pretty pleased with Day 1 on Lake Martin. 2 of my guys are in the top 20 and all of my guys are in the top 53. Not a bad start for my first time doing this. I just might keep the same lineup for the whole thing. Good luck everyone in Day 2 tomorrow! ? My team is Mark Daniels Jr., Justin Lucas, Brett Hite, Randy Howell and Wesley Strader.
  14. At the moment I don't really have one rod that I use for all around use. I swap between a Lew's 6'6" MF spinning rod and a Lew's 6'10" MHF baitcaster for all of my fishing needs. However I've got my eye on a Lew's 6'6" MHF baitcaster at work that I believe I can make an all around rod out of. ?
  15. Yeah I'm ready. Made a few swaps in my lineup the other day. I'm pretty satisfied with my team for now. Hope I'm able to watch some of it on my phone. Good luck everyone! ?
  16. Chatterbaits are my favorite to throw. Whether I'm burning them in or slow rolling them I use a Lew's Speed Spool 7.1:1 gear ratio. I love it! ?
  17. Like others have said, it depends on the catch and/or the extent of a snag. I only use Sufix 832 braid 30 and 40lb a very durable braid. After each catch or snag I check my line and if it's pretty badly frayed I'll retie. I only use two rods at the moment so when I change baits/lures I retie. That can be more often than I like unless I'm using baits/lures I can use a snap with. Same rule still applies after catch or snag though. ?
  18. 6.2:1 is the slowest that I use of what I have. 7.1:1 is the fastest. I have a couple 5.1:1 those are on cheap Wal Mart rods. I don't use them anymore. I'll eventually get more Lew's combos, spinning and baitcaster, to meet my needs though.
  19. First day on the job at Academy this morning in the training room. Waiting for a page to load on the computer I'm training on. Slow internet there...lol. Found out after work that I don't have to wear my hair in that stupid ponytail no more. Thank God, ponytails give me a headache...lol. ?
  20. Today was all computer training stuff mainly for firearm safety certification. Still have some more of that to do. I did browse the fishing section while on break though. Found my next baitcaster combo I'm gonna get as soon as I can afford it in a few weeks. It's a Lew's 6'6" MHF Speed Stick with a 7.1:1 Speed Spool. Just the size I've been wanting.
  21. Hey Mike now that I'm finally working again I'll be getting with you in a few weeks or so to make an order. Gotta get some paychecks coming first. I've been aching to get some of your Shot Caller swim jigs and possibly a few other things. It feels good to be working again. ?
  22. Another vote for Sieberts here! Great jigs and fogies(chatterbaits). Great colors too. Mike is an awesome person as well! Can't go wrong with Sieberts!
  23. Thank You Lord for answered prayers! He's awesome like that. That's great news for your wife! Congratulations to her! Best wishes to her in her new job! ?
  24. Heck if all of y'all showed up and told them I sent you, they might be happy to give a discount. Y'all may have to show up all at once for like a group discount though...lmbo! ?
  25. Howdy and welcome to our fishing family! Best of luck in your medical career. ?
