  1. When I get my research lab up and going I’m hoping to recruit some eager grad students to work on a couple ideas I have had for some more effective therapies and maybe even a “vaccine” of sorts, or a very targeted pesticide as a side project. I’ve almost died twice due to airway swelling from poison ivy. If I even think of it I get it, *itch, itch*.
  2. Regarding live bait changing fishing pressure, don’t bass eat live bait to survive?
  3. Yes the update is AWESOME! I rescind my comment about wanting to go Garmin.
  4. I got mine back in November. Where did you order? With a fair amount of confidence, I think I can get you one within a couple weeks.
  5. The initial release of Mega Live was a let down. A software update, 1.150, has been released and it’s amazing. Watched this one take the jerkbait at about 70 feet out!
  6. This thread is getting derailed. Can a mod just put it out of its misery? There are other forums for this kind of crap.
  7. My rule is simple. Round trip driving time must not exceed total fishing time overnight vs. day trip is only limited by the hours awake in a day
  8. I have the Tracker Lithium batteries. They work fantastically and if they have an issue I can walk right in and exchange one right off the shelf. To those saying don’t buy “chinese made” batteries seriously just can it, downright ignorant and unuseful comments.
  9. DIY. I made a sheet with all the specs/parts I can send you.
  10. Didn’t really get much clearer throughout the season last year.
  11. Darn it. My first year it was so gin clear and I had a lot of fun learning how to fish that kind of clarity. Heard it had always been like that.
  12. Would just be for the Livescope. Love my birds otherwise.
  13. Well I currently have a Humminbird mega live and have not been satisfied. The announcement of the new Livescope plus has me about ready to jump ship
  14. The electronics are into the tens of thousands haha. I have about 500 hours fishing time spent in the boat and probably about 250 hours working on it.
  15. oh please don’t make me cringe at how much I’ve spent on this boat yaya $5500 for boat $150 to repair keel / add keel guard $500 to mod trailer $200 for seats $70 for decals $100 to make deck extension into compartment $250 for TuffSkinz $1100 for hydraulic steering Im probably forgetting something Just assume retail for electronics (graphs, powerpoles, lithium batteries, mega 360 etc)

  17. -Abu Garcia Black maxx -OG BPS pro qualifier (not the pro qualifier 2; it looks like they are RE-releasing the OG soon)
  18. What you’ve done is set coverage for an existing set of items which the insurance has agreed to pay upon. If you were to acquire a gold plated wiggle wart, worth $20,000 your insurance would NOT cover it unless you updated your policy prior to the loss. Your pictures you have now will only serve to make sure they pay the previously agreed on maximum coverage. Not having any claims with your insurance is by no means a good indicator of how they will cover you. It just means you don’t have experience making claims with your insurance company. Even the best of adjusters can only do so much since the policy is written on paper.
  19. I always read the worst / lowest rating reviews on most items I purchase. if there are consistent themes it’s a red flag. i find it’s pretty easy to identify trolls or people who are projecting other problems they have with other parts of their life or frustrations into their review.
  20. Welcome to the fam! Hoping to have me a new fishing partner in a couple of years! If that’s not his jam, that’s ok too.
  21. Flat side crankbaits are the biggest driving factor in my risking frost bite to my hands fishing in the winter… and that’s saying a lot because my hands are my livelihood!
