I have both. The Ghost is more sensitive and lighter however the Ghost rods have a long handle which I'm not a fan of. Both great rods though. Also like people have said I like my *** better than both of them.
Anyone else really disappointed in the new white color BPS choose for the Carbonlite rods and reels this year. I personally liked the smoke color rod/reel they use to be. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me we already have Abu and Duckett using white rods and they have the Bionic Blade in white.
I'd go with the Duckett Ghost rod. I have two of them, the 6'10 M and 7'3 H and love them. They are very light and sensitive. I can't figure out what people see in Abu Garcia rods there blanks have zero action, they all feel like a heavy action rod.
Ok guys I need some help. I've decided on these two rods but can't figure out which one I want to get. I want to use it for Texas rigs, the Carrot model I'm looking at is the 7'3 MH casting and the Gblanks is the 7ft MH casting. Does anyone have any advice on these two rods?
Rod: 7'6 BPS Extreme flippin stick

I would have to say all of the above, I've learned a great deal from being out on the water, nothing can beat what you learn out there but the beauty of today technology is you can keep learning when your not on the water, the internet, other people, forums, books, magaiznes, tv show, and tivo.
I also got this book for x-mas and it had some good stories in it, but I didn't care for it to much it seemed to me he didn't like ***s to much and didn't understand the sport. I also didn't like the history lesson on bass when Christopher Columbus started bass fishing.
For the biggest bang for my buck it has to be Bass pro shops rods, the Extreme rod, Rick Clunn rod, Bonic Blade are all great rods and all of them are under $100 bucks.
Even if you want to go to there higher end rods you are still under $200 bucks. So IMO the best rod manufacture is BPS but I also use Allstar and Daiwa L&t.
