I just put on a 10" Storm Kickin' Minnow (Rainbow Trout Color) and I'm gonna waste my afternoon throwing that today. I'll try and give a report on it in the morning. It's a bit of a long shot, but you never know.
Western WA here and I archery hunt for Blacktail, Whitetail, and Muleys. As well as black bear, both elk, and turkeys (mostly Easterns and Merriams, but the occasional Rio as well. I also do a small bit of duck/goose as well.
I agree with this, but with that said, I find myself throwing the dropshot a lot more than the C-rig even when I understand when to throw one over the other lol
I don't use spinnerbaits as often as I should, but when I do I usually throw it when white/chartreuse color combo works the best. I always have some sort of a white trailer and a trailer hook as well.
Not much to go off of, but I hope it helps.
Hey all!
My name is David and I just got started on this website. I never grew up bass fishing, and it wasn't until my third year of college that I went for the first time. I was hooked. I joined the bass fishing team at EWU and have been lunker chasing ever since. Can't wait to learn from and interact with all you fine folk!
Tight lines,
David
Fellow western WA angler here, I'm down closer to the Chehalis area though. I heard Capital City Bass Club out of Olympia is a pretty good group of guys so I'm gonna look into that.
