  1. It may be case sensitive on the password in which case it's Bigbass
  2. Just seeing if I'm the only march madness fanatic here. Made a group in espn. Group name bass resource. Password bigbass. WAR RAZORBACKS!!!!!!
  3. At the $100 dollar range the falcon bucoo sr 7' medium moderate( I have it just don't know the technical name is without it handy). On the little higher end the falcon lowrider 20 Mansfield special. I have it also and it's an extremely quality rod. It's handled 1/4 and 1/2 oz lipless cranks and down to dt14s well. Plus made in the U.S.
  4. Go Mark Davis!!!!!! Gonna bring it home for the natural state and the home town!!!!!!
  5. 50/50 or close to it. Tackle warehouse mainly online occasionally ebay. Dicks and academy in store. I'm a bargain hunter to a fault.
  6. A lot of advice is gonna depend on where you are fishing and what stage the bass are in. I'd say you at least have a decent plan. Just be open minded and let the fish tell you what they want.
  7. Ned rig. Not sure I ever will either, nothing against it just something I'm not sure I'm gonna do. Those big expensive hard body swimbaits. Just not willing to spend that kinda money on a lure and buy equipment to throw it on.
  8. I have a wonderful ole lady!!!! Bought me 2 new rods today for no apparent reason other then she loves me. A 7'2 medium heavy falcon cara t7 Mike McClelland and a 7'6 lews medium heavy David fritts cranking stick. Lucky me ?
  9. I've caught quite a few smaller bass on a 10" worm. It's what I throw almost exclusively once summer hits day and night.
  10. Yep berkley lightning rod in that price range.
  11. Pretty tough today. Only gotta couple. Waters way up after being way low about 10 days ago. Got this decent one though
  12. Mlf was at my home lake last year and although I knew not a lot of others did. I'm not sure it's helped the community's bottom line. They came while the lake was flooded and fishing was tough. The Forest Cup is here this year also which will bring in a lot of money. It doesn't bother a lot of us. Some others I'm sure it does.
  13. What county in Arkansas do you live? In the natural state you can not keep someone from their property. The problem you will probably encounter is the guy literally doing his best to make your hunting miserable. The local judge should be able to get you an easement. And as long as you ask he can't keep you from retrieving your deer.
  14. few things I picked up mostly at dicks clearance prices plus buy 4 get 1 and I had $20 dicks cash so why not. Few things from bass pro including the president. Funny thing about that dobyns sierra....I got it off of the trash route we run at work. Literally had 7/8th of an inch broke off. So now instead of a 6'9" medium light it's 6'8. And the frog was more my 4 year olds pick then mine lol
  15. 1-7'4 heavy fast. 65 lb braid 6.8:1 reel for punching and launching an a rig. 1-7' mh fast 15 lb cxx 7:1 reel for any single hook applications (i.e jig texas rig spinnerbait) 1-7'6 mh moderate 5:5:1 reel 12 lb mono for cranking. 1-7' medium moderate 7.3:1 10 lb mono for topwater jerkbait and small cranks. 1-6'9" medium fast spinning rod with a 2000 series reel 5.2:1 8 lb suffix siege for anything I may need a spinning rod for
  16. Don't go a lot in December and January. Maybe 3-4 times a month. For the other 10 months I get out quite a bit, probably 15-20 times a month. I live real close to quite a few lakes and have a small river that runs thru my back yard so if I wanted to go every day for a little bit it'd be real easy.
  17. I went and gotta pflueger president 30 some boxes and rod socks. Didn't save much but enough to make it worth it I suppose
  18. I'd probably have to go with a watermelon red baby brush hog. Extremely versatile and a proven slayer in my neck of the woods. I suppose if it came to it I could burn it on top like a frog(ish) to feed my topwater fetish lol
  19. Welcome aboard. Good to have another Arkansan around. You'll find this place extremely friendly and helpful. Enjoy
  20. I love the c-rig. Probably my favorite way to fish besides topwater and productive all seasons. Speed craw or a lizard in winter/spring and a finesse worm/centipede summer and fall.
  21. Well to say day 1 could've went better is an understatement of epic proportion. But.... I'm not dead last. Hoping the hometown guys come on strong tomorrow
  22. Keep 5 on the deck and 10-12 in the rod box when I'm on my boat. Someone else I'll take 6. A a-rig/ frog rod, 2 mhf, a cranking rod, a mf, and a mf spinning rod.
  23. First smallie of the year. First time I'd actually been fishing this year targeting bass...well as much as you can target bass in the small river behind my house. On a strike king bitsy bug.
  24. Yeah the ole tongue hooked bass is a non survivor. Won big bass in a tourney this summer on a tongue hooked one and it was technically still alive at weigh in but floated on the release. Sucks
  25. There's not actually a ton of bushes and cover normally. A flood had came like 4-5 days before they filmed and the lake was way way high. Like 12 foot above pool or so. And the area they fished week 2 is way more conducive to shallow water fishing naturally than where they were week 1. Some of them guys were flipping around where picnic tables normally are ? lol
