  1. It's better to be good at a few techniques than average at a lot. This will help you find your strengths and become confident in them.
  2. I'm a pretty big Brantley Gilbert fan. Old Garth and hank jr. Even like hank 3
  3. Pre takeoff trader bills team trail stop #2. 200 of the best sticks in the natural state. $10,000 to win. Soon to be running 70 to the honey hole in my best friends skeeter fx21. Love this game
  4. She's surprisingly ok with it. Not so much the $18 chatterbaits lol
  5. I have one!!!!! I had my ole lady pick it up????? . I thought I lost her to sudden cardiac arrest when she got to the counter to pay for it.

    Beer

Coffee to begin the day, water and Gatorade during and a couple Coors lights when I get home
  7. I have an echomap 73dv and 93sv and they're good graphs for the money. Quickdraw maps are awesome btw. You won't be disappointed unless you're expecting $1500 performance out of a $600-700 graph.
  8. It'll work fine. I throw all my smaller traps and shallow cranks on a 7' medium moderate rod. Just with a 7.1:1 reel which is probably a little fast for dt10s and such but it's what I have.
  9. I fish quite a bit at night during the summer. 3/4 oz black spinnerbait and a 10" worm almost exclusively. I usually use plum apple and cranberry colored worms. Find brush either around docks or on points. It's a blast
  10. You're doing fine simplemann. On a similar setup-ish. My 6'8 okuma evx topwater rod and okuma stratus v reel I can put a 1/2 oz spook somewhere in the 50 yard range. And pretty accurately. The problem with real bomb casts is landing a fish that hits at the end. That's a lot of water to cover fighting an animal on its turf.
  11. Biggest fish I've caught in a while. Didn't have scales. Somewhere between 7 1/2 and 8 we guessed. Made the ole lews bb1 scream.
  12. It was a great game. HEART. That's what won it. They just wanted it more.
  13. It's that time of year. He's ready to go.
  14. So..... you were born in 08?????? They made it in 2010. Just throwing that out there cuz dang you sure are pretty fishing wise to be a preteen!!!????? And maybe just maybe I'm being a smarta$$ lol All kidding aside congrats and thanks for taking out big blue nation without your best player.
  15. I'm gonna assume I'm not the only one who didn't have Loyola Chicago, Florida st or Kansas st in my elite 8. In absolutely wonderful fantastic stupendous news Kentucky lost ????????
  16. I fish almost all budget spinning reels ranging from $30-$70. For the price it's hard to beat a pflueger president.
  17. Loyola Chicago???? I mean if you don't have a legitimate rooting interest and don't despise the team you gotta pull for the underdog.
  18. You did eat that crappie right???? I know some ppl may smash on me for asking since it's a slab but man that's fantastic table fare ???
  19. 21st place this time. A giant step up from the last one. Moral victory lol
  20. I didn't catch all that game but what I did I saw some questionable calls. On the whole this tournament I would say the officiating has been subpar at best and awful at times. There's just j it been any consistency. They'll let it be rough then call a slew of ticky tack stuff. Hard to play like that
  21. March madness is great. Only time you cheer for the underdog to beat the team you picked. Which will hurt your bracket but who cares. If your not a die-hard Kansas st fan and you're not pulling for UMBC tomorrow you should be ashamed ? lol
  22. UMBC! UMBC!!!!! Brackets busted worldwide. Mine included. Craziness.
  23. Yeah that's tough. Especially getting housed by the buffalo bulls. Good day of games though altogether
  24. Well today's the day the chaos begins. I love it. Well I say that right up until a 14 beats a 3 and my brackets busted lol good luck y'all
  25. Depends really. Anywhere from a couple hundred feet to the river in my back yard to 150 miles to the furthest tournament I fish. Normally no more that 45 minutes. I'm lucky enough to have water galore around me.
