Just wondering if anyone had any experience or opinions about Xpress aluminum boats. My dad is looking at some at the moment, particularly the H51. It's 17 ft. with a 90 Mercury on the back. Neither one of us is very familiar with these boats and are looking for some advice.
Thanks for the info guys. I've seen the B&S motor, but don't know of anyone that has actually used it. Not sure what to think of it at this point. Think I'd rather pay a little more for a well known manufacturer of outboards.
I deep hooked a bass using a Zoom centipede last week at a local pond. I had read the article about removing deep hooks on here a few weeks ago so I thought I would give it a try. Once I had the hook eye pointed out through the gills, the hook point popped right out. I think I'm going to use this method more in the future.
Been lurking around this site for the past couple of months and I must say that I've picked up a lot of great tips.
OK, my question is this. I have a 12 ft. john boat and was wanting to buy an outboard for it and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I was thinking in the 5-6 HP range and leaning towards 4 stroke over 2. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
