  1. They cast like a kite.
  2. Lamiglas Excel. End of story. Made in the USA and is one hell of a rod. Throws the 6 in BBZ perfectly, Bill Seimental helped design the rod. LOVE mine. http://www.***.com/Lamiglas_Excel_Bass_Series_Casting_Rods/descpage-LEBSRC.html
  3. Use Lamiglas almost exclusively for saltwater. They are a dominant force for New England Surfcasters. Might have something to do with Ron Arra being a local.... I recently picked up their Excel Swimbait rod, it is awesome.
  4. Go make your own show Jackass! Mike D, great episode! Keep it up brother.
  5. Lamiglas has entered the $100 market with the Excel line. Made in the USA. I have the swimbait rod, and it is awesome.
  6. I absolutely HAMMERED them on Monday. Water temp 48 degrees, throwing a 7" MS Slammer. It was one of the best days I've had in a long long time.
  7. Commando missions Long runs down the bigger lakes
  8. I had considered getting the Jr. Swimbait rod. After visiting the website and coming away unimpressed, I went with the USA made Lamiglass Excel. I KNOW that Lamiglas will be around in a few years if I need anything. The mailing address on the Irod site comes up as a residence in California...
  9. Same here. Took me all day, but it's working now.
  10. I winch mine up tight on the ramp, then put the safety chain on the bow... Then pull it up into the lot. Takes two minutes.
  11. Neither was their customer service. Good riddance.
  12. I'm off on Wednesday, might have to hit it!
  13. You might have something there.
  14. Thaaaaat would be me. Buncha fat guys in spandex running around hugging each other. :
  15. Word is that the legs don't hold up well. Supposedly R2S has spare legs on their website...
  16. You're joking right? Man I hope so...
  17. It works for now.
  18. Love the wind, less people on the water. More fish for me.
  19. is that a pellet gun? ive never seen sights like that before. The sights are unusual, but those vertical serrations scream "Colt." I bet that gun is dead-balls-on-accurate. Rear sights are adjustable. My dad spent a lot of time dialing it in.
  20. Junk, junk, junk. Horrible. Absolute garbage. Worst line I've used in the last 25 years. Bought a spool of 6lb to try on my shakey head rod. Didn't even get out of the garage. Tied a jig on, lubed it up, tightened it down... DINK, knot broke. Repeated that twelve times, tried a few different knots. Everyone of them broke. Back to my trusty Berkley 100%, no problems.
  21. is that a pellet gun? ive never seen sights like that before. 1981 M1911A1 Colt (Government)
