  1. I basically started bass fishing in general back in the beginning of 2016 and at the ripe age of 37. I remember not knowing much at all regarding fishing for sport I’d fished my entire life but never for sport so I wasn’t completely inexperienced. I remember turning to the great group of members on this website and used their knowledge and experience lead me into my journey. Besides all of the equipment and tackle I purchased the one thing I was missing for a couple months was something to fish from and found bank fishing to be very limited. At that time I remember having a hard time finding something in my budget that I felt comfortable standing in and could hold my large frame and weight so I took a long hard look. I took the leap and bought a Heritage Osprey 12.9 which I have been very pleased with. It’s been 4 years now and other than being heavy and designed to carry a bucket behind the seat rather than a milk crate it’s been great. Unfortunately Heritage has since went under I believe. Sorry I don’t have any pictures of my actual rig.
  2. Straight up Enforcer molds makes amazing frog molds. I think the detail is in the plastic recipe and not so much the mold itself. I’ve seen some amazing frogs made by the guys on enforcers forum. Here’s a couple frogs that I’ve made with an Enforcer mold.

    Lure swap

Heck I’m down to do this if and when it takes place again.
  4. Yeah I’m pretty sure they’re done. I wish it weren’t true since I have three of their higher end reels. All of which I love and now have zero support if anything happens.
  5. Yeah I live like two miles from Lake Thunderbird and must say the only lake that seems to have much access from the bank in our area is Lake Stanley Draper. I am not from the area of the state and got tired of not being able to do much good from the bank so I bought a kayak and have done extremely well and love it. It gets me around great and it’s peaceful, I love how close I can get into tight areas.
  6. What part of Oklahoma are you in?
  7. Hahaha that’s funny stuff right there. He should be able to get really good instructions based off of that.
  8. Gary worked with do-it on that mold I believe which is why it also has do-it engraved on the egg sack portion of the worm which is the only difference.
  9. Yup, the heat does and sunlight are terrible on crankbaits. Just leaving them in the truck all day can kill them if the vehicle or container they’re in aren’t vented well.
  10. Here’s a 3.5” that’s very similar: http://www.basstackle.com/647_Ring_Swim_p/647-1-1.htm
  11. Are those are 4.5” worms? Fully rounded or flat bottom? Here is a picture of a mold available by an online retailer that is similar. If you want exact then yes YouTube has a lot of videos on creating molds: Heck I’ve been trying to find out what worm this is. It’s 5.5”. I’ve got a 12 cavity mold for them but no idea if they someone still owns the rights to the worm.
  12. Yup as long as it’s for you and your not selling them then there is no reason why. Can you post a picture of the worm and I might be able to help you out.
  13. Yeah perch stripes would look good. I was worried with the Shad dot it may look a little off but I could turn the dot into the gill marking on perch.
  14. Thank you. There are lots of better custom painters out there though.
  15. Iwatas are fantastic and hard to beat. I own quite a few airbrushes (Iwata, Badger, RichPens, Grex, and Paasche) and each one serves a purpose. You need to figure out the style of gun you want/need before you should even look at the manufacturers. All that being said I’ll take my Grex Genisis XGi’s and XB’s for everyday use. I personally feel they have the best designed triggers out there and amazing when it comes to comfort. That’s my perosnal thoughts but an airbrush is like a fishing reel, it’s what fits you.
