  1. If thats not an opinion, can i hear the facts you have to back it up? I have a Bucoo its a great rod, i dont own a vendetta so i cant comment on them. -matt- Sure can! The Veritas is more sensitive and powerful. http://www.tackletour.com/reviewabuvendettavtc696.html If i remember correctly that review does not compare a Bucoo vs a vendetta. The vendetta did receive a high mark on their test but the Bucoo was not reviewed. Looking over the review i think the vendetta may have taken a hit in the most important category Features/ components. They should have went with Fuji guides instead of pac bay. -matt-

  3. Shimano Compre, great senko rod. I have a bucoo (casting) and its awesome. My next rod will probably be a bucoo spinning model. -matt- http://www.***.com/Shimano_Compre_Spinning_Rods_IM8_Graphite/descpage-SCSR.html
  4. Ive been looking for a new lake to fish lately and i finally found one that holds decent fish. I went to Phillips pond in sandown yesterday and put 20+ lmb in the boat and no pickerel in 4 hours. Caught most of them flipping jigs into the thick stuff. The biggest of the day was a good 4.5lb couldnt get a pic or exact weight cause he swallowed the jig and was bleeding bad he did swim away fine though. He are a couple others from the day. -matt-
  5. Is this the rod your talking about? Just saw it on cabelas. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=MainCatcat20166-cat20168-cat20374&id=0082903125587a&navCount=11&podId=0082903&parentId=cat20374&masterpathid=&navAction=push&catalogCode=XA&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat601233&hasJS=true -matt-
  6. If you look at lights look at streamlight, fenix, or jetbeam. I have had a couple surefires and they are great lights but for the same cost you can get a much better light in a different brand. Depending on the set up and the light you choose adding a pressure switch is a nice addition! -matt-
  7. I have a dell inspiron, its going on its 4th year and still running strong. Only problem was a bad fan when i first got it i called they were here the next day and it was fixed. My sister has a HP laptop not sure what the model is but she had problems and had to ship it to hp. She was without a computer for about a week. What ever you go with get the most memory you can. I was able to upgrade to 4GB with a 500GB hard drive. -matt-
  8. : I dont have trigger time with the mossberg but i own an 870 super mag as do many people i bird hunt with and its a great gun. I checked the websites and both shotguns are about 7 pounds currently. Im a little confused on how a 30 yr old shotgun can weigh less than a new model.. :-?
  9. It was nice to finally meet and fish with everyone. Here is a couple pics from the day. Fmoore caught a couple lmb and crappie. I caught a lmb and smb. thanks again fmoore for letting me fish out of your boat! -matt-
  10. I changed my name from bassmaster6 to NHfroggin sorry about the confusion. I sent fmoore a pm and made plans with him to fish tomorrow. -matt-
  11. Yeah, it can be a lot of fun given the correct circumstances. I'd love to do some striper fishing someday. Salt water fishing is a blast, striper's and blues are fun, great fight on freshwater tackle Striper's are in now, i have been fishing them for the past two weeks 25" was the biggest one, no keepers yet. -matt-
  12. Yeah i fished the pow wow once this year just to see if it improved and it didn't seem any better, i think i managed 2 lmb under a lb and a couple pickerel. It is filled with milfoil and from what the locals on the lake said about 6 years ago the water level was so low you could walk across the lake. maybe thats why there are a limited number of fish left. Hope this helps. -matt-
  13. I have been fishing long pond in danville for the last 6 years. IMO it has been slowly getting tougher to fish becuase of the milfoil . It does hold decent size fish, i have pulled out a couple 5lb'rs from their but that was a few years back. I put a hurtin' on em this year around the spawn but there was no size to them. Also if your looking for a good lake to fish in this area i would check out kingston lake, it can get busy on the weekends but its worth it. Greenwood pond is also very good but not being a resident i would check with the Kingston PD because its a private launch and its only open on weekends. If you have any other questions let me know. -matt-
  14. When i worked at Walmart there was a three year warranty on Everstart max marine battery's. They throw it on there tester if theres a bad cell they will replace it. -matt-
  15. Nope. The caps come off and not removing on a regular basis to check water level will make sure that you will have to take advantage of the warranty. They are a standard lead-acid flooded cell battery. Walmart must have changed there warranty and battery since i stopped working their(6 months ago)... -matt-
  16. Everstarts marine battery's are maintenance free you never need to take the caps off. It will void the warranty. -matt-
  17. Nice pig badcrawdad! -matt-
  18. It is a Old town discovery 15'8". http://www.oldtowncanoe.com/canoes/generalFamily/discovery_158.html Stable enough that i stand up to fish all the time. Only downside is getting blown around but thats with every canoe. Personally i wouldn't go shorter than this if there are two people in the boat. -matt-
  19. This is how i put my canoe on my liberty. I got the roof racks used on craigslist for 35$. BTW i know the canoe is to far back in the pic. I usually just ratchet strap it down like you can see because im only 5 minutes from the lake but if i go further i tie it down to the tow hooks in the front. -matt- http://www.autotrucktoys.com/liberty/Mopar-OEM-Jeep-Liberty-Roof-Rack-Sport-Utility-Bars-02-07-P6956C513.aspx
  20. The 16th sounds good to me, if someone has an open seat that would be cool, if not i can borrow my dads canoe as long as the wind is manageable. -matt-
  21. SGT how do you like the insight light? -matt-
  22. You shoot to stop a threat not to kill, very big difference. Now you in no way should shoot to "wing". Your shots should be center mass always. No head shots unless they are believed to be wearing a vest and then it would be double tap to the chest one to the head. I know that if i was fishing that body of water or any other i would be carrying my firearm as a option and to be prepared for what might happen. If you happen to be confronted by these people and a co angler can return fire as you are trying to outrun them i think it may help your chances. Use common sense and you will be fine. -matt-
  23. You may never need your cc firearm but why not be prepared. This story comes to mind when i hear people say you dont need a cc firearm in places such as stores or in this case a church.. http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/14817480/detail.html -matt-
  24. No, not yet. Just got promoted to an armed security guard position. Just got my associates in Criminal Justice and now going on to get my bachelors degree. You have to be 21 to take the test in MA. One more year -matt-
