  1. Either one of these two. I caught so many bass on them when I was little. I'm now in my mid-40's and I'd say it's been a good 30 years since I've even owned either one.
  2. Personally I like the larger flanges of the Z Craw as opposed to the junior. As far as length goes, you can always trim that down to your desired size.
  3. Omnia has 5 packs in stock. 20% off too with code MEMORIAL20. https://www.omniafishing.com/p/zoom-z-craw Super fast shipping too. Anytime I order from them they ship it the next day.
  4. Always on mono and copoly. For fluoro I use the San Diego Jam. Does the Trilene Knot hold with fluoro??
  5. Did somebody mention Siebert and Swammers?? I have my favorite trailers, but this spring I just really started using the Swammer and I really like them.
  6. Yup. I've experienced that as well.
  7. In my experience, TW is pretty bad at shipping out backordered products that you placed an order on.
  8. Berkley probably bought them and will continue to make the baits we've all come to love. Except they'll add their Max Scent and charge $10/pack.
  9. Are you able to get them in your hands to feel them? The 7'3" heavy/x-fast is labeled as a "full contact finesse", whatever that means.
  10. I've been using Omina Fishing more recently. Their stock can be hit or miss, but you get fast shipping, and they seem like great peeps. I placed a small order a while back and got this hand-written letter and they threw in a free pack of Flukes and Z-Craws!
  11. Does anyone have a list of the models that will be coming out later this year? I could've sworn I saw it posted somewhere.
  12. Kittery has 25% off two qualifying items. Ends tonight (midnight EST). Code- FAMILY25. Can be used on Megabass. Here's the list of brands that are excluded. 13. I always like trying new plastics. I'll give these a shot, but at $8 for a 5 pack, I hope I don't like them so I'm not tempted to buy more. ?
  14. I have that exact rod, and like others have said, it's a VERY versatile rod. Awesome, awesome rod. I own multiple Expride's, handful of Kistler Helium's/KLX's, Megabass Orochi/Levante's, Poison Adrena, ALX Zolo etc, and this Sierra is still one of my favorite rods. Obviously it isn't as light as some of the others, or as sensitive, but it just feels right and is super fun to fish with. You won't be disappointed.
  15. If you're looking for something to match it looks-wise, I doubt you'll beat the Zodias line.
  16. Ok, cool. Thanks for the update. I love Exprides. I did order the 7' medium Zodias, but haven't received it yet. If I don't like it I'll just use it for other applications or sell it.
  17. Love seeing all the pics/reading your stories, guys! Keep them coming. Got a few decent bedding fish this weekend. I spotted this smallie as I was working a canal off the river. I was right on top of it when I noticed it and I was only in about 1.5' of water, so figured it'd be spooked, so I backed off a bit. All of a sudden I notice a pike come into view and it kept chasing the pike away from the bed. He/she was fired up. I pitched a Rage Bug in there, and the pike comes flying in and nails it, tearing the claws off. I get the bait back in and quickly pitch back in there and this time the smallie killed it. Like, hit it hard hard and just took off. They REALLY wanted that bait off the bed. I have the pike to thank for getting them so riled up. ? The next day I was on the lake and came across some bedding LM. They were very spooked so I had to back way off to have a shot at them. They wanted nothing to do with the Rage Bug. So I grabbed a Daiwa Yamamoto Neko Fat Worm I had laying in my console and trimmed it down to make a smaller profile, and threw it on a 2/0 hook. That did the trick. I caught 4 of them in a short span. Interesting how big of a difference just changing up your bait can make. To me the Rage Bug looks more threatening and bluegill-like than a worm. Then again maybe they were actually eating and the worm looked like an easier meal.
  18. Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner. A pike tore the tail off a Dark Sleeper yesterday so I stripped it down to see what it'd look like.
  19. NRX is GLoomis, not St. Croix. Also, you ever check out the St. Croix Legend Xtreme? Croix makes some great rods.
  20. I would hardly call those 3 baits ripoffs of each other. Especially in todays age where there ARE some baits that look nearly identical. Those 3 do not.
  21. Only a matter of time before you overtake Tackle Warehouse as top dog!
  22. Does the Provoke work? This dinkity dink thinks so. ? Seriously tho, they're a great bait. I still like the 110 a little better tho, but you definitely can't go wrong with any 6th Sense hard bait IMO.
