  1. I love Sniper. I use it for many applications, including t-rig (16#) and jigs (16# and 20#). Also, KVD line conditioner always helps with any fluro.
  2. I have a few. But mostly I'm just a gear/tackle junky who spends every chance I get out on the water. Which is why I don't know why I haven't moved down south after all my years in WI and dealing with iced-over lakes 4 months out of the year. ?
  3. Awesome. Thanks for all the replies, guys!
  4. I've never bought a rod from either of these places. Anybody have experience with either/both? Curious who well they pack their rods and if they ship them in heavy tubes, boxes etc? Thanks.
  5. I guess Kistler was ahead of the time with their steep price bump a year or two ago.
  6. As of now this is what I've got. I do plan on adding/replacing (likely in the spinning dept) some and probably selling a few before the ice gets off our lakes. As you can see, nobody can call me a fanboy of any one company. Haha.. 7. FYI, 6th Sense stock hooks are much better than most stock hooks.
  8. One of my favorite Texas Rig rods is a 7'1" Kistler Helium med-heavy/x fast. Now, not all rod manufacturer's rating are created equal. But I really like the x fast on the Kistler.
  9. I usually use straight fluro or straight copolymer for my cranking. But I do like using straight braid (40#) if I'm ripping lipless cranks through weeds. Makes it so much easier.
  10. Right now, not sure. But between Dobyns themselves and another site they go on sale here and there.
  11. Sierra 734. Micro guides unless you're using a leader. Such an amazing rod for that price point (especially on sale).
  12. I like them well enough. Very nice baits that produce. But there's a reason the 110's get so much hype.
  13. Memorial Day will be 15% off. And right now you can get gift cards for 10% off. So if you get a gift card, and wait til Memorial Day, that's essentially 25% off.
  14. I have Lucky Craft jerkbaits, lipless crankbaits and squarebills. As well as other higher priced baits from Megabass, Jackall etc. And I still find myself throwing Strike King KVD 1.5's and Red Eyed Shad's just as much as the others.
  15. Ah yes, how'd I leave this out.
  16. No, it's a Siebert Outdoors Shot Caller.
  17. 3.8 Keitech Fat Impacts work well. As does the X-Zone Swammer. Gambler EZ Swimmer and EZ Vibe are also great paddle tail trailers. As others have said, the Rage Menace is great. But you could also check out the Z-Man Goat. Similar to the Menace but will last longer. You can rig it vertically to mimic or horizontally like this to keep it a little higher in the water column.
  18. Just wanted to wish my second family...my "home" away from home...a happy and joyous holiday season. This is the best place on the internet. Glenn and every one of you are truly appreciated! Here's to everyone breaking their PB in the upcoming year!
  19. This happened to me as well (credit card, not debit). My previous 3 transactions on the card were to TW. Coincidence? Who knows?
  20. Like the other fellas said, it doesn't work anymore. But there is a new one. What you have to do is first go to your cart. Now, you see that bag of green pumpkin Trick Worms you have sitting in there? Remove it from your cart. Voila!!! $5 off!
  21. Just a heads-up for Bluebasser and others who are fans of the Provoke. 6th Sense finally came out with a deep diver. I'm surprised it took them so long.
  22. My northern WI friends do. I'm more towards the southern end. A few lakes have a thin layer of ice on them.
  23. Wanna hear about my winter struggle? I have ice forming on my lakes!!
