Thanks for your great contribution, as usual. Like I said, I didn't know if there was something with the currency exchange rate or what. I even said it's too good to be true, but then saw places where it said it was a reputable site.
I figured as much. I never order from the Japan sites, so I never know how big of a difference the currency is. And this being Malaysia, I figured I'd ask. Off the bat I thought "nah, this can be legit". But like I said, after a few Google searches it sounded like it was a legit site.
Ah well, one can dream.
Anybody know anything about this site? Some Google searches say it's legit. Based out of Malaysia. But the prices are way too good to be true. GLoomis rods for $60+USD. Tatula LT for $50+USD. They also have older models of rods/reels.
Shipping is over $100...but you can get free shipping if you wanna wait a month.
Something smells....fishy.
Those prices are crazy for some off brand. Tho as Aaron_H said, at the bottom of the page it says Lew's. Since when does Lew's.
This this is their Sprayin Shad popping bait. Looks like a knockoff to the River2Sea Bubble Popper. Except this version is $5 more. They do come with KVD Triple Grips, so there's that I guess. But there's no dimensions of the product listed anywhere on the site. Never change, Dick's.
Never heard of them. Went on their site to check them out. Without ever seeing them in person or fishing them, they get a hard pass from me. $15 for their hard baits, including their lipless. Willing to bet a Red Eyed Shad is a better product at a fraction of the cost. They also have a Whopper Plopper 90 knockoff that's more expensive than the actual River2Sea Whopper Plopper.
You running 10# braid on your Curado? I'd definitely bump that up to at least 30-40#.
A Shimano Expride in the 7'2" med-heavy/fast is a great all-around rod. But maybe get a heavy for froggin/jigs?
Majority of the time it's just me. My fishing buddy lives about 4-5 hours away. I love fishing with hiim whenever we get the chance, but I must say, I really enjoy fishing alone.
First and foremost, I'm a much better fisherman when I'm alone. Not as much noise in the boat. No talking. Just total concentration.
My job is quite loud and hectic, so having that alone time is also quite refreshing.
Lots of good ones out there.
Strike King Rage Menace rigged vertically. Hog Farmer Spunk Shad. Big Bites Swimon. Yamamoto Zako. Like MN Fisher said, a Pit Boss.
That's probably the case in many instances.
But there was a day last year where I was working on a bed fish, and she wasn't having any of the baits I was trying to tempt her with. She wouldn't even acknowledge them. I was gonna leave and come back later, when I noticed a little bluegill come near the bed and she instantly chased it off. So I tied on a Savage Gear Pulse Tail Bluegill. First pitch in there and she clobbered it.
