  1. Of those 4, Rage Craw is my favorite overall. But personally if I'm fishing really clear water, I usually reach for something with a little more subtle kick. In that case, the Z Craw or Adrenaline Craw would get my vote. Not to mention they'd slide thru that eel grass better than the Rage Craw, which has bigger, wider kicking flanges/claws. But if the water is more murky, give me the Rage Craw all day.
  2. Cool...thanks! Do you happen to know the actual weight of your model?
  3. Curious if anybody has ever handled/fished these before. Looking for opinions. Thanks!
  4. If I'm pitching I like a lot of play in the spool. And if I hit a dock post while doing so, I end up calling myself some bad names.
  5. You have a chance to fish those Savage Gear baits yet? If so, what size did you get and do you like them? Thinking about trying the 4" guy...
  6. Proof that this bait works. Few weeks back I threw the Sunshine Gill color with no luck. One bite but didn't hook up. Yesterday was a different story. Fishing some thicker weeds in 10' of water. Just swimming it and popping it free when it'd get hung up. Pumpkinseed color. Caught 6 bass and a pike in a 45 minute span. A few of them really committed. I think every one of them knocked slack in the line. They'd hit it and run straight at me. Few times I wondered if I had missed them. Before and after:
  7. Glad I'm not the only one who sleeps with my lures.
  8. Again, not sure how the new Tatula XT rods are only $99.
  9. Congratulations! That's a beautiful fish.
  10. Speaking of knockoffs. This is rich considering Zaldain just left Megabass. Total knockoff of the Magdraft. Him talking about how he and Bass Mafia put all this work in designing this is just hilarious, and quite embarrassing IMO.
  11. I thought the Cover Scat looked silly. Then the OSP Dice came along and all of a sudden the Cover Scat doesn't look so funny. But hey, if it works it works. And if the Dice works as well as the Scat, then it's definitely a winner. Is it at least made of some form of that elaztech material? Because $15 for a 4 pack of those tiny things seems pretty insane.
  12. We're at the point where it's becoming harder and harder for companies to come up with anything innovative. It has to be hard designing new baits that don't "knock off" anything that's already out there.
  13. A Frittside for dirtier water, sign me up. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Berkley_Clickin_Frittside_Crankbait/descpage-BFCC.html Also liking this new color in the Dredger. Vanilla Chartreuse. Curious if it's translucent.
  14. Gotcha. I was gonna say depending on what you lost I could maybe send some your way.
  15. What lures have you lost?
  16. For the $99.99 price point, the new Tatula XT rods look like they could be a winner.
  17. Well if it hasn't happened yet in 30 years you may be SOL. ? Totally kidding. That just made me chuckle a bit.. Too bad this didn't happen when the 4th of July sales were going on.
  18. Ok, good to know. I had read a few other places that Shimano is going to that new design with all their spinning reels. So I just figured that was the case.
  19. If you're a guy who holds his spinning reel between his ring and middle finger, you're likely not gonna like the new Vanford (and other new Shimano's). I hate that they've gone to this new design. I've learned to hold mine between my ring finger and pinky now, to the point where that feels more natural to me, even when fishing my Daiwa's etc. And I've been a lifelong middle finger/ring finger guy.
  20. Get yourself a Dobyns Sierra 734 (I like the micro guide version...I'm running straight braid). Reel-something around 7.3 speed. 40# braid of your choice. 3/0 or 4/0 Mustad Grip Pin hook. Love this setup for Flukes. Also, the 6th Sense Flush is a real nice soft stick bait.
  21. Meth lab cooking up some Bait Fuel?
  22. Is that the 4" Fluke, 4" Fluke Jr. or the 3" Tiny Fluke?
  23. You guys prefer dressed or undressed?
