  1. Beast hook/Flashy Swimmer or on a Warbaits jig head (as in the picture). I'll use it as a swim jig trailer as well.
  2. Is the Tat 80 smaller than the 70? I have a few 70's and they are quite tiny. Great reels.
  3. Definitely a question. I don't think tackle is something to show off over, is it? If anything having so much stuff is embarrassing, actually. I asked because I do enjoy trying new stuff. Which is probably how I got to this point in the first place. You sound a lot like me! ? Well then, you're an enabler. ? Thanks bub. I do enjoy it. Big time. But I really should be downsizing.
  4. It's on there. But truth be told, I never fell in love with them like everyone else has. I don't know why. Hmm, never heard of them but I'll definitely look them up. Thanks. You're are 100% right. It's gotten out of hand, for sure. I know I have bags that are over 5 years old that have never been opened. Like I said, I do give stuff away to friends and when I see young kids out fishing. So as long as I keep doing that and stop buying... They're on there. I have them under creature baits. Suppose I should've put them under 'grubs'. Are you talking about stuff like the Easy Shiner or the Swing Impact (non fat version). I do have a fair share of different swimbaits.
  5. So I was sick as a dog today. Was really hoping to get out and fish, but that wasn't happening. After being bored watching TV most of the day, I just had to get out and do something fishing-related. So I decided to go through all my soft plastics and write down what have. I didn't do how many bags or color of each, or I would've been out past midnight. ? I realize I have way more than I need. I love trying out new baits. And sadly, there are a lot of baits that go unfished because I either forget about them or I just have other favorites. I really should downsize at some point. I do give a bunch away to friends/kids from time to time. Anyways, is there a favorite soft plastic that you use that you love and don't see on my list? I realize most aren't gonna go through and read all of this, and I totally get it. I could save a lot of space and type them all out, but that'd take me forevvver since I'm not a speedy typer. More than anything I did this out of boredom. But if you do and have any suggestions, I'm all ears. Thanks!
  6. Yeah I like them a lot. It seems the 1/4 oz has the same rate of fall as the 3/8 oz Jackhammer/regular size Chatterbait.
  7. I totally agree with you. On both of those statements. ?
  8. Took advantage of the Sportsman's Outfitters sale and stocked up on more MiniMax's.
  9. It's legit. I even repair frogs when they get sliced up from pike.
  10. If fishing mats I'm throwing a black frog 99.9999% of the time.
  11. Skirt is hand-tied as well, always a plus.
  12. LOL, looong day..
  13. I see the Chatterbait Elite for %5.49. I don't see the Mini Max at all. Nevermind. Once I typed it in it came up.
  14. Yeah, I go there first but am disappointed far too often with either stuff being out of stock or them not carrying a particular brand/item.
  15. I keep wanting to get the World Minnow and popper. And to me, those Stanley Ribbit's are still the best toad-style baits out there. Few things from TW. The Magic Man in Regurgitated Shad has become one of my favorite lipless. Got a few more packs of different sizes/colors in the Machete Minnow. Great Chatterbait trailer. And decided to check out the Hayabusa Lil' Schmitty Swim Jig. The head on this thing is THIN. I'm a swim jig fanatic, so I'm always trying out different ones. Siebert's Shot Caller is still my go-to (which I did get a box in the mail today from Mike).
  16. No Omina? I do like FishUSA. Lots of options out there nowadays. Some are better than others.
  17. I'm guilty of leaving fish to look for fish. I don't always, but definitely guilty of it. Catching bass with different techniques is part of the excitement for me. If I'm nailing them flippin' docks, I may just up and leave and see if the frog bite is on on the other side of the lake. I'll be doing well with a Fluke up in the shallows, and I may go out deeper and start throwing cranks. It's all part of the fun. Now if there's money on the line, that's a different story.
  18. I keep ordering despite have 2 containers of SO jigs/swim jigs. Not to mention all the ones in the boat. Oh yeah, and I placed another order the other day. ?‍♂️
  19. I have. Very similar. But the Miyagi only comes in 4.75". Where as the Booty Shaker comes in 4 or 5 different sizes.
  20. Let me know if you ever come up this way!
  21. No doubt. He just seems like a dang good dude! A real one. Best movie ever?
  22. Restocked on some Booty Shakers. If you haven't tried these you really should. The plastic is so soft, yet somehow durable (its not elaztech). I'll fish them as stand-alone as well as swim jig trailers (3.25 and 4.0, depending on the size profile you want). The swim jig has a 4.0 on it with the head of the bait trimmed off. Last pic is the 5.0.
