  1. It's beyond bad now. (this is from the desktop version) Somebody mentioned the Falcon Cara Amistad in another thread. I went to TW to look up the rod and it's specs. First off, I click on "casting rods". Then the top 10 brand pop up. But Falcon isn't one of them. Now I have to click on "shop all casting rod brands". It now lists all 60-70 brands TW carries, Except the brands are all scrambled and not in alphabetical order, which has already been mentioned here. So I find Falcon and click on it. I then find the Cara and click on it. Now, on the old site it would list all the models in a neat, compact column. It would list the specs, the rod name etc all right there for you to easily read. Now? It doesn't even list the rod names (Amistad, Eye Crosser etc). You could easily find the rod you're looking for on the old site Now if you're looking for a specific rod by name, you have to click on the length and then click on an action...and then click on rod specs. Then you will see the rod name. If that's not it, try a new length/action until you find what you're looking for. Now if you already know it's a 7'3/H etc then it's not as bad. If you don't, then it's one big game. I've been a long-time TW customer. But they just keep making it easier and easier to look elsewhere.
  2. When it's caught in a tournament.
  3. Another great catch.
  4. I still see reviews. But to see them all you have to click "more". You know what they say- if it's not broke, fix it! ?‍♂️
  5. And it matches the tiny red thread that's on the Adrena.
  6. You used to be able to click on certain rods like Dobyns and St. Croix and it'd tell you what techniques each model was made for. They got rid of that, too. The more I browse around the site the more I hate it. Now you have to click more often to find certain info. You have to scroll more because they made pictures etc bigger, so there's less info on the screen at one time. Nobody cares how pretty a site looks. At least not a site where you order stuff from. Customers want ease of use and accessibility. TW dropped the ball, big time. Hopefully they'll get enough feedback and correct things. Most of my TW browsing is done from a desktop FYI.
  7. Ohh, now I see. If you click "shop brands" on the home page before clicking on the type of bait, those are all in order. But if you click on "jigs" or "spinnerbaits" etc, by brand, those are all scrambled. Yikes.
  8. On my desktop they're in alphabetical order.
  9. Thanks. I read somewhere that the B's are a little lighter than the A's. Was curious if that's true or not.
  10. Seriously??? I had like 3 different lists. It was my way of reminding me of baits I wanna get at some point. *Edit- I still have my wish lists. You have to scroll waaay down now to find them tho when before it was near the top of the page. Lol.
  11. Posted this in the sale thread before I saw this. The desk top version of TW was always way better than the mobile version. I also am not liking the new site. Why mess with something that was already so good and everybody already knew how to navigate with their eyes closed? And now when you click on a rod, let's say, you have to scroll way down to see the specs of the rod, etc. It wasn't that way before. Looks so much worse now.

  13. Do any of you guys know how much this rod weighs?
  14. I love the Tharpe series. Definitely punches higher than it's price point.
  15. Gotcha. I know nothing about those rods...
  16. Ark's website. Never fished these rods, but have heard good things about them especially for an "entry-level" rod. I know there's some Ark guys on this board who may wanna take advantage of this deal. @T-Billy being one of them.
  17. If a 5lb bass is considered small, I wanna fish the lakes you're fishing! That's a nice bass anywhere in the country.
  18. What rod? I've yet to dip my toes into the BFS game, but I likely will next year.
  19. Your process of placing an order sounded waaay different than mine. Secret is out! @Glenn, how do I become a mod?? ?
  20. So this is one of the perks of being a moderator? You can just tell one of the site sponsors what you want, and BOOM, he sends it to you?? ?
  21. Code is PREM50BONUS
  22. Fleet Farm. In-store only.
