BTW, those are inspection gloves that are used when handling rare, valuable items. Not latex gloves used for checking prostates. Just wanted to make that clear. 😅
I used FINS Infinity for the first time this year on a few setups. Really liked it. And when they say it doesn't fade, they aren't kidding. Now, I didn't use this combo nearly as much as some others, but still..
I know your pain. Once fishing season comes to an end here, one of the ways I cope with the long, cold winter is by buying fishing tackle. Like you (it seems), I am weak.
To be fair, Pure Fishing didn't actually have that crazy sale. We had a member here (we're not worthy!) hand out crazy codes that I doubt were meant for the public.
Nice haul!
I also promised myself I wasn't buying anything this Black Friday season. A Kistler Chromium rod and this order later...I disappoint myself. But 50% off the rod was hard to pass up. I have Helium/KLX/Feel N Reels, and I've been wanting to try the new Chromium.
And all of this for $115? Hard to pass that up. $3 for the Z-Man Sling Bladez spinnerbaits is a steal. I justify it by putting in some OT at work. 🤦♂️
And a lot of their stuff is an even better deal than what the site shows. For example, the Zoom Fat Albert grubs say reg. $2.19, on sale for $1.10 (again, select colors). In reality, those grubs retail for $3.25 most everywhere else.
They're nuts. OG Slims (and Tiny's) for $4.50. DT's for $3.85. Rocco's for $5.50. And Z-Man TRD for $2.25. Zoom plastics for $2.50. (select colors on a lot of the stuff)
How about the 7'3" version if you're in a kayak? Also, same lure weight rating as the 7'6" and 7'11". Brian (Punch Fishing) says it's a good punch rod. (this is also supposed to be a great frog rod)
I was looking at this myself for a 'shorter' punch rod.
I have the 7'11" Expride A that I punch with. That 7'6" has the same lure range as the 7'11". I bet it'd work well.
