  1. Pretty sure you're right.
  2. Same here. I throw a Senko (wacky rig or weightless t-rig) way more nowadays. I keep forgetting how many fish I've caught on the Fluke over the years. It really is hard to beat the movement of that thing. And before that, the Slug-Go. Do they even make them anymore? Or before that, the Strike King Pork-O. Oh man, I used to slay the bass (and pike) with that thing. Love it. And it was pork so the durability was unmatched.
  3. Dammit. Now I'm mad I bought Phantom Shad over Perch.
  4. Can't go wrong with Bone and Loon. Never tried Perch but I'm sure that'll do just fine as well.
  5. Whoops. Sorry. What color(s) you end up getting?
  6. I like using both. I use hollow body frogs more tho. Starting using these last year. Z man Pop Shadz. 5" version. They float and have a cupped mouth, making it pop and spit water. You rig them weightless Texas rig. They made from ElaZtech plastic, the same durable stretchy plastic used on the TRD's. They really excel in lily pads. They work around and through the openings very nicely. And they have a great hookup ratio.
  7. Wasn't me! I did get the Phantom Shad in the 110 tho. Also got Bone and Loon in the 110's. The 130 I got in Blue Blood.
  8. Thank you! And thank you!! Just picked up 4 (three 110's and one 130) for $32!!! Normally 4 would cost $68. Amazing deal.
  9. Also, Cabela's has a few Lew's reels marked down quite a bit. https://www.cabelas.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=1885009&type=product&WT.z_btnclk=YMAL-1885009&WT.z_pg_ref=prd1930438 https://www.cabelas.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=1417844&type=product&WT.z_btnclk=YMAL-1417844&WT.z_pg_ref=prd1930438
  10. Oh, come on. You have Justin Bieber.
  11. For regular topwaters like poppers, stick baits, plopper etc, I use 6.3 ratio. But for frog fishing in the slop, I like 7.2/7.3. If a bass blows up on my bait and I miss it, I wanna be able to get that frog back to that spot as soon as possible. So the faster ratio allows me to get the frog back to the boat faster, ready for another cast.
  12. Same here. Have had many Curado's along the way, as well as the last 2 (200i and K). LOVE them. Well last year I started adding different Tatula's to the arsenal. I am beyond impressed. I'd put them right up there with the Curado.
  13. Nice. Is it safe to say that all copoly lines have less stretch than monos?
  14. Lot of people like Yo-Zuri. Comparing it to other copoly lines it seems to run thicker tho. But I guess it isn't an issue? I guess I just want something that has decent-good manageability, abrasion-resistant, and lower stretch than mono (that's not braid). Does copoly have noticeably less stretch than mono?
  15. Hmm. Everything I've read says Big Game is a mono.
  16. Been using XL for YEARS, and I've never had a breakoff. And I've fished it in some heavy cover (14lb). Of course I'll regularly check for nicks, etc. I wonder if you got a bad/old spool?
  17. So I know most use braid/fluoro leader when they're jig/t-rig fishing. But I've always worried about that extra knot possibly failing on me. I've had great success using Trilene mono over the years. But I've been wondering if copoly would be a better choice. What are your guys thoughts? And what brand would be best for this application?
  18. It's almost as if it was sent from the heavens.
  19. 25% off all Rapala's at Fleet Farm. In store and online.
  20. Totally forgot about Vicious Frogs. Last summer I was at my local Fleet Farm, and I saw these frogs I haven't seen before. And they were only $3.99. Do I bought 3 of them. These probably have the best hook-up ratio of all the frogs I've thrown over the years. For the price it's hard to beat. I happened to be at Fleet Farm today and picked up 5 more. https://www.fishermanscentral.com/vicious-frog-53798.html
  21. I have used mono, braid and copoly up til this point. Plan on trying fluoro this year. But it's always been my understanding that fluoro stretches LESS than mono. For those who use the KVD line conditioner, how often do you spray it? Just once after you spool your reel? Before every outing?
  22. And it's ok to keep it plugged in all the time? It can't overcharge or anything like that?
  23. Is that velcro on top? What worm was it that they used to make with the little strip of velcro on it? Was it made by Culprit? I generally like R2S stuff, so I decided to give the Spittin' Wa a shot last summer. Wasn't a fan, really. Missed a handful of fish. Could've just been me though.I'll give it another shot. I'm also a Booyah Pad Crasher guy. But I'm also looking forward to trying out the Booyah Toad Runner this year. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Booyah_Toad_Runner_Frogs/descpage-BYTRF.html As well as the Jackall Kaera, as some have mentioned. Love the compact, but heavy design. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Jackall_Kaera_Frog/descpage-JKKAFG.html Tempted to try this, just based on the name. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Flipin_The_Bird_Topwater_Bait/descpage-FTBTB.html Does anybody put rattles/bb's in this frogs?
  24. Thanks all. So the consensus is either Minn Kota or Dual Pro. After reading all the comments, maybe I'll just flip a coin. Ha.. That thing looks pretty big. I'd probably have to measure to see if it'd even fit where the current charger is at right now.
