  1. Well that's a nice way of treating someone who's trying to help ya out.
  2. Gambler Big EZ burned weightless across the top.
  3. Stain Reaction OB, Mat Shad and Perch.
  4. They do seem plenty stout. I just think the hook sharpness leaves a bit to be desired. I suppose I could just sharpen them.
  5. 3/8 oz, 3" in Mutsugorou is my favorite. If I'm fishing river current for smallies I'll up-size the weight to 1/2 or 3/4 oz in clear chartreuse.
  6. I did find this description on their site rather funny: So then, why does all of their other crankbaits run straight? ?
  7. What size do you go with? I'm thinking the 1/0 looks about right?
  8. Just curious what hooks you guys use when replacing the stock hooks on the Arashi Glide. Thanks!
  9. Another mod I always do (unless fishing in clear, open water) is put 2 6mm craft bells and 1 or 2 bb's in the frog's cavity. Gives added weight, which helps you launch it further, but more importantly, it gives it a slight rattle sound. https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=l&ai=DChcSEwiOovHs3r3pAhVFvsAKHZBjD7gYABAHGgJpbQ&sig=AOD64_06OaKm_rkcUz3UyXwA-CS3UmYEEA&ctype=46&q=&ved=0ahUKEwjuguvs3r3pAhVKXc0KHffMB1gQww8IsgQ&adurl= https://www.walmart.com/ip/CROSMAN-COPPERHEAD-BBS-177-COPPER-COATED-STEEL-2500-CARTON/19866104
  10. Had a productive day today. This one was the biggest of the bunch. I was coming up on a rocky point so I said to myself, "self, I wonder if there are any crayfish (crawfish, for you southerners) in this here lake". I had already been doing well catching a handful ripping a bluegill pattern lipless crank through weeds. So I decided to put a craw pattern lipless on. First cast, fish on. As I'm taking the hook out of it's mouth, I see 2 crayfish claws sticking out of it's throat. So I guess that answered my question!
  11. If you call or email Mike, you can get any color skirt on any product.
  12. If anybody is looking for that color, or similar, check out Siebert Outdoors. This is their Hot Sauce color.
  13. Right. I've heard a few people now saying they weren't happy with the new Powerbait version. Is it the price? Are they less durable?
  14. Are the Powerbait Pit Boss' that much worse than the Havoc? I have tons of packs of the Havoc Pit Boss, I haven't had to use the Powerbait version yet.
  15. One of the things I like about the Biffle Bug (and Jackall Archelon) is the hollow body with an open bottom where you can slide a rattle into.
  16. I have a few but have not used them as of yet. I got them more for deep water, rocky bottoms. I have a feeling they'd get hung up more than a regular bladed jig in grass, unless the grass were more sparse.
  17. Megabass Big M 7.5 and Vatalion. Can't wait to put them to the test.
  18. My favorite spinnerbait rod is the ALX ZOLO Deputy. Absolutely perfect for this presentation, IMO. It's fast action, but it's a little slower than a lot of fast actions.
  19. Definitely the forgotten bait. I used to go through so many packs of these things back in the day, it isn't even funny. Usually the 6" version. Eventually I replaced it with the Strike King Pork-O to throw in situations I would normally throw the Slug-Go. Usually pads or reeds. Then they discontinued the Pork-O so I used my Super Flukes more, which I still use to this day (along with the Caffeine Shad). Anyways, the Slug-Go definitely gets the job done.
