  1. Yes, it does strech less than the average mono and i feel that it transmits vibration better making it better for bottom contact applications. It´s a very good line.
  2. Give a try to the Magnum Zara Spook or the Super Magnum Zara Spook. They´re not easy to find but they walk like a dream!
  3. Go with the 4 power GLX´s (844, 854 or 894, i don´t think there´s a 804 on the GLX line up), Loomis medium heavys fish on the lighter side, i have a NRX 853 and 3/4 to 1 oz jigs is way to much for the rod...
  4. I honestly cannot choose one favorite amongst my reels because there´s 5 or 6 of them that i really like but my Core 101 is definitely one of them, such a great reel...
  5. All of them are Bluegill Flash with the exception of the two 4.8 ones on the bottom left wich are Sexy Shad (these 2 packs are for my A-rigs where i like the big one to be from a diferent color so it can stand out from the decoys). Pretty much almost all of my local lakes and ponds have clear water with just a very few ones with more stained, greenish water.
  6. Restocking keitechs plus a new "everything finesse" rod:
  7. I fish them both ways, with and without a trailer, depending if i´m wanting a little more bulk and action or not. When i do use a trailer it´s always a Zoom Fat Albert:
  8. 4 of the 10 biggest bass i ever caught (including my PB) were caught on a junebug color Zoom Mag II worm so yeah... i fish junebug worms A LOT!!!!
  9. Totally agree with what Heartland said, great for small jigs... underpowerd for bigger ones! I actually never use mine for jigs, it´s my light Texas rig rod. I would say that 90% of the time i have a t-rigged craw on it (1/4 to 3/8 oz weigth), it also makes an excelent weightless Senko/Fluke rod. Great stick...
  10. I think i saw somewere that it´s going to be 599$... but don´t quote me on that one!
  11. I would definitely wait for the new one. The 12 Antares is still a great reel in quality and size! By that i mean its bulky and heavy, i´ve seen a pic of the new 19 next to the 12 and it looks way smaller, plus the new one has the latest version of the SVS brakes wich i prefer to the original one (less need for constant lubing and less noise on the cast). With that being said... if you find a 12 one for a great price, now that´s being descontinued, then in that case yes... it could be a good alternative, but even in that case i think i would go with the 19.
  12. 7.3" Heavy Colmic Black Weapon Revenge 9.1:1 Daiwa Zillion TWS 50lb Sufix 832 with 15lb Sufix 100% Flurocarbon leader
  13. Ad the D to that list and you´re in the money! I had all the generations from the Curado since the B´s and my 201D is still the smoothest, and one of the more refined, of them all
  14. The Gambler MegaDaddy is big, really big!
  15. That´s the spirit!!!
