  1. I agree. The stradic is a tank. If the stradic was a transformer it would be Ironhide. Pew pew
  2. That is not covered under warranty. JB weld!!!
  3. Check the part numbers of both shafts, im betting they are the same. If so then yuppers!
  4. If you put it in the microwave it will warm up quicker. 30 seconds is perfect. Or until you see sparks. Edit* please don't actually do this
  5. Here is the handle assembly for the 2500 size. They dont list the knob separately. RD17861 and it is 15 bucks American.
  6. You can just unscrew the handles and swap them. Or if you want you can just unscrew the knob. Just get a pick tool and pip off the knob end cap and using a small philips screw driver unscrew the screw. Keep track of the shims and bushing that come out, you'll need to reuse them.
  7. SLX MGL all day. Smooth reel and it looks very nice. It’s a fairly light reel and can cast bombs man. It’s great with light lures as well. The knobs on it are superior to daiwas knobs as well but that’s my opinion.
  8. What great looking rod decals man, such a nice blue!
  9. Both are great, perch and bluegill are always my go to.
  10. I really appreciate you guys sharing your experiences about this kinda stuff. I'm a young guy and never bothered wearing sunscreen, im in construction as well and I'm definitely going to protect myself. That video was brutal and I do not want to have to deal with that.
  11. I did that a couple months ago with an 8lb pike, the grippers were bright green and I could spot the exact location of the pike for a half hour after it slipped from my grip.
  12. Thanks for allowing me to join. It was a great experience and I'm excited for next year!
  13. You rock man!!
  14. I got my package today!! I was just telling my fiancee that I need more jigs for this coming season!! I'm not 100% sure who got me but I love to know and I love everything! Thank you very much!
  15. Check out the slx xt or curado k reels. They are both in your budget and great examples of hat shimano has to offer. The slx xt is a awesome reel at its price point and looks and feels great, super smooth and fairly light. The curado k is a straight up hog, the reel is strong and can withstand a beating. Its god a solid frame and even smoother then the slx reels. Comes in 5,6,7,8 gear ratios as well.
  16. Love the bass pro stick baits!
  17. I use stainless weights from bass pro, they are eagle claw brand and come in a green case. I then paint them and clear coat for added protection.
  18. I was just looking at those new 3DB 110 yo zuri jerkbaits, they have some really nice patterns and are priced well. They also have the weight transfer system in them to cast further which should be nice. I'm going to have to pick some up for sure.
  19. I hooked up into a 9kb pound musky on a medium modfast hmg a couple years back and the rod handled it with ease. Ended up picking up 3 more hmg rods in other actions. Highly recommend.
  20. The Levante rods pretty sweet rod. I've seen a lot of them come up for sale here in the gta, I've got 3 of the new zodias rods and love them so much. They are a really fun rod to use. I find myself picking up the zodias over the expride just because its a more enjoyable rod to use. They do run a little stiffer but I like that for throwing paddle tails and larger chatterbaits.
  21. I go with gold sometimes but mostly black and blue spinnerbaits or chatterbaits with black blades. Bright fore tiger patterns have produced for me before so thats another option. If the water is fairly deep ill really try letting my lures sink till I hit bottom and then try different depths.
  22. Looks sexy. I'm curious as to why they used a left handed reel for their demonstration.
  23. Zodias 6'10 M rod, Fantastic rod
