  1. Victory rod feels great, love the grip as well. The zodias rods are much better then the E6X in my opinion. Feel much stronger and better balance overall.
  2. Zodias rods come with 1 year warranty, after that you can pay 50% for a brand new one.
  3. Turtles love to steal baits from anglers. They take them back home and stash them away like trophies.
  4. Zodias 7'2H fast. It's the new version and it kicks bass
  5. I think I need some brighter pictures of that scorpion. I might have to get me one...
  6. I liked the few Lews reels I've had in the past. The one big thing that made me sell them all off was the fact you can pay so much and not get a proper pinion support bearing. Then you hit the thumb bar down without the spool in the reel, the pinion just flops around, but even some lower end daiwa and shimano reels come with bearing supported pinions. Just my 2 cents.
  7. Rod sleeves are a must!!! Use some hand towels to stop them from sliding around.
  8. Let's be honest, it's an adrena, you'll love it.
  9. Go for the slx. It's really a great reel. Nice and smooth, looks great and palms nicely. I really like how the slx reels feel, the flat part up front is perfect if you like to rest your finger under your line while fishing as well.
  10. I kind of hope they bring back the red accents! I loved the old ci4+ chronarch reels I had. I should have kept them but whatever. It would be a fresh look for shimano to throw a little colour into a reel other then the green black and metallic we've been getting. Need more curado E mgl scorpion mgl colours!
  11. Has anyone heard anything about the new chronarch mgl coming out later this year? I've heard the current one is now discounted and a new one is planned for later this year.
  12. I had that fancy Karting reel, after it was made available to the public it's like Kastking forgot about it. Not a word mentioned about it since the fundraiser. I sold the reel, did not need something that fast and the pinion in it was a tooth pick. I'll stick to my 7 speed reels.
  13. I'm way to stupid to understand any of what you said.
  14. I use my 6'10 zodias as my jerkbait rod and I toss in line spinners, lipless cranks and poppers with it as well.
  15. I LOVE my 6'10 med fast zodias. Can't get enough of it!!!
  16. I have the 7' M for that exact setup you are looking at. So that's my recommendation. I love it and I also got the two piece version so I can take leave it in the truck when I'm traveling.
  17. I think they are fairly close in sensitivity. The exprides are the same with the two piece handle and rod. The JDM version has the removable handle and the north American model has it glued together.
  18. I've got the 7'm spinning, 6'10m, 7'2mh and 7'2h casting rods all 2020 models and love them all. They are lighter then the previous version when I compared both 6'10 models in hand. Sold all the old ones off. They are such a fun rod to use and they look great as well. I've got all JDM versions as well and like that they don't come with the hook keeper, it's in a bad spot on the north American version. I reach for the zodiac over my exprides in the same size and action.
  19. Out of curiosity, why do you want to know?
  20. Some lures are worth the dip. Nothing more fun then getting down to your boxers in front of multiple people to get your brand new jerkbait back! The only embarrassing part was getting out and apologizing to a guy who was there with his wife. Apparently she's never seen a "pike" that large before.
  21. I usually get the fiancee to poke a pen through the spool, apply pressure to it with her two hands against the spool and then I feed the line through a broken rod cut down to the last guide, install the reel, tie the line on and put tape on the knot to keep it low and from slipping, hold the line between my fingers and make it nice and tight, then have at her.
  22. Squarebills all day everyday ??
  23. You still fishing the banjo minnow as well or?
