  2. What gauge wire do you all recommend for making inline spinners
  3. DomQ

    Lure swap

I tie my own jigs using different hairs and skirts and dress my own treble hooks if thats something people would be interested in? I could probably do 1 of each for each person.
  4. Curado k due to the fact that shimano's customer service it top. l3 C.S is about as good as 1 ply toilet paper...
  5. Thank you buddy Ya you make a good point with the heat from the summer, thank you, Really appreciate the helpful advice!
  6. So I've been packing everything up for the winter and this past fishing season was all about soft plastics for me. I've accumulated quite a lot from the start of the season till now. My question is that I've taken them out of their original packaging and am now storing them in little plastic lunch bags. I'm concerned that the paddle tails on my swimbaits and the appendages on my craws and creature baits might get folded or out of shape. Should I consider a different method of storing them or is there a way to mold misshapen soft plastics back to the original orientation? Or am I just over thinking everything? Thanks for the help guys! Tight lines.
  7. Well I kinda spoiled myself in the last 3 weeks. I purchased a daiwa tatula sv, the tatula coastal And a quantum smoke gen 2... Ugh nobody don't tell the GF about this. ? also purchased the spro bbz1 80 size swimbait, looks and feels sweet!
  8. Lol you just made my evening
  9. Rod: Abu garcia Reel: Quantum or Shimano Hardbait: Storm Softbait: Reaction Innovation Line: Kastking Hooks: Gamakatsu
  10. I call that a good lot
  11. How do you like the reel
  12. Where'd you get them from
  13. I like that they skip the middle man but I also understand why big companies don't. You have to support businesses somehow right. In my opinion, kastking is doing it right by selling their products themselves, but the only downfall is that they won't get as much recognition because they are very limited to end users who are not aware of them and may not use online services to purchase items/gear.
  14. As long as the hooks don't catch each other while casting, put on whatever size you like, although sometimes a bigger hook can cause a bait to act differently if its a floating or suspending type bait due to heavier hardware.
  15. Hahaha leafs fan all the way bud you can get it on eBay, just go on ebay.CA and look up kastking. If you buy the one that ships from China it takes a couple weeks longer to ship but its usually 4 or so dollars cheaper, all dimming from the same place apparently. I talked to someone from kastking about a year ago during my first purchase from them and asked what the difference is from buying it from the American source or Chinese source from their same eBay shop, lady said its just to do with stock at their warehouse. You'll understand more of what I mean when you go check it out. Shoot me a message if you need any more info or help! The picture below is of the last order that I purchased from them. Those were only the 300 yard spools, excluding the 1000 yard spool I purchased earlier that month.
  16. I love the new hmg rods, I've told everyone I've talked to that if I could I would sell off every rod I own and buy all new hmg rods, it's a shame they don't make more options or else I would have done it. Great rods for the money, I caught the muskie in my DP on the new 7'2" med mod hmg rod, rod held up way better then I could have imagined. They really hit the nail on the head with these rods imo.
  17. I bought one last night!! 146 bucks canadian!!! Couldn't pass it up
  18. Ouuu another good choice!!!
  19. There are more, that's just the first couple pictures that popped up on Google images. Lots of selections.
  20. I'd go for it, currently contemplate getting a tatula sv for 170 canadian for myself haha
  21. Reaction innovation's Skinny dipper. Best producing swimbait for 3 years now. Got all my buddies hooked on them.
  22. Storm stands are my favourite! Ill throw one all day if given the opportunity, priced very competitive and comes with great hardware and colour patterns. You can hear the rattles from 4 meters away when reeling it back to the boat.
  23. Bass pro has a sweet strike king squarebill kit on sale right now, if scoop that up for its not for Canadians ?
