  1. I got the 172mh fast and it's a sweet rod, I recommend.
  2. Good for anything up to 2oz, had one, loved it. Super duty is also a good choice. Got that to
  3. Buy it!!!! And buy one for me to. They are great reels man that is a great deal!!!!
  4. I'd try having the reel serviced, I do that with every single reel I get, new or used. Flushing old poopoo out of the bearings and cleaning up and greasing the main gear and pinion will help restore the smooth feeling of the reel. If you dont service yourself there are a few guys here that do. Hope this helped!!
  5. Rule 37... NEVER lend your rod to a bowfin, they are known for braking rods.
  6. Handle knobs are different as well
  7. Where do we find the tracking number?
  8. I tie all my own feathered trebles. Get some thread, colour doesnt matter, get some chinese **** cape of the desired colour, some flash and go to town. Seal it all up with some hard as nails and there you go! The feathers never want to lay flat so you'll be at it for a while when you first start.
  9. Good thing it wasn't shark week... for her and the discovery channel
  10. LOL oh man Did you test the bearings when you degreased them? Give them a spin and listen to hear how they sound and feel. I've actually got a curado E opened up right now, all your springs in place?
  11. Could be a bad bearing, but I cant remember for the life of me what turtles banging sound like again, care you try and type it out so I can get a better understanding? Haha all jokes aside try checking your bearings, also do you have your drag cranked down all the way and how tight is your spool tension knob. You could also check the little red/green brake pins, make sure they are all still in place. If your not comfortable taking your reel apart maybe have it sent out. There are loads of guys here who do service reels. Update... dont google turtles banging ?
  12. The industry needs more blue reels. Thank you daiwa, That's my opinion
  13. I just picked up two 200e’s and a 50e a couple weeks back and man I got them for a steal. Gotta keep an eye out man, took me three years to find these ones and get them before someone else did. ?
  14. Just use it, you'll be fine.
  15. Graphite reels are fine, they will work just fine for bass fishing. I'm sure shimano wouldnt spend money to develop and mass produce a reel out of it if they were going to have to recall every single one.
  16. Just opened her up and applied a little of shimanos drag grease, its functioning much better now
  17. Awesome thanks man!! I loved reading your comments on that thread ?
  18. I just picked mine up and man is it ever small! I like how deep the spool is but also how narrow they made it! Is your spool still a little tight even when with the drag backed off completely? Not like super tight be when I put my thumb on the empty spool and turn the handle with the drag backed off completely I still feel a little bit of resistance, not like a curado k when its completely free spool when its backed off completely
  19. Well I'll be getting mine today so I'll be able to post my thoughts later ?
  20. Usually a number 4 with a large fry, but sometimes I'll get a salad when I'm feeling gross.
  21. I love the look of the last gen version over this one but that being said I'd rather the newest version for the new features.
  22. Happens to me aswell, just keep an eye on your line and rod tip. Dont wanna set the hook like that that's for sure!!
  23. I'd check the clicker, twist drag cap off and check her out
  24. Ya I'm in the same boat, I just want something nice to pair with the expride.
