  1. Oh God no more viruses PLEASE!
  2. I dont like cranking down my drag to much, I just set my drag a little bit and use my thumb if the fishy starts pulling more drag.
  3. I didnt change the cap, thats the same one the reel came with.
  4. It is the same as the oem that the scorpion comes with, 84mm.
  5. Its the same red on the handle nut and the tension cap but a little brighter then the frame, still looks amazing!
  6. Just felt like my scorpions needed a little more red! Bought a couple handles from the Caius B reel and slapped them on my scorpion mgl reels. Shimano part number for handle assembly is BNT6429 - Handle assembly
  7. The reason I like the fuji ones is because if ive got something Texas rigged I dont have to take the hook out of the plastic, I just lift the hook keeper up and close it down on the actual line so that the lure doesn't pull through.
  8. Fuji hook keepers FTW!!! Every rod gets one.
  9. I usually run 30lb on all my baitcasters other then my top water reels, which get 50lb. I think 30lb is a good baseline to start with and if you don't think its enough line go to a 20lb of your choice.
  10. I like it, green being my favourite colour is my excuse so I really enjoy the look of the grip. I mean its in a good spot when casting and when I'm palming the reel its not scratching up on the side of my pinky.
  11. I loved my smokes and energy reels, I had 10 in total.
  12. Fair enough, hopefully you find someone. Pictures!!
  13. Know anyone that paints at a body shop? Your going to want to break the reel down completely first though and remove all the parts and tape it up.
  14. You will be very happy with it, great little reel man.
  15. So do I, favourite colour haha
  16. The new clarus rod is actually pretty nice, great reel seat and looks great. I'd say the weight and sensitivity of the rod is on par if not slightly better then most rods in the price range that I have owned and handled. The rod is also straight as an arrow as well as the guides, much better then most rods in the price range that is for sure. I really like the grip, its the same as my intenza. Its not thick at all and very comfortable as well at the reel seat. I got the 7' MH fast 2 piece because I needed a 2 piece when I'm with friends and there isn't any room. I'm picking up the 7'2 MH fast this evening! Did I mention that it pairs sooooo well with my curado E reels ?
  17. Been waiting to get one!! Already got a nice power handle picked out for it!
  18. To me its the hat, yup the hat is the MOST important feature. Gotta look good guys or else why fish!?!? Kidding... its the rod
  19. Ive got both rods. The expride is more sensitive but the zodias is a fun rod man. I really appreciate the expride and what it offers, I think it is the best rod in its price range, but I also think the same for the new zodias rod as well. I find myself reaching g for the zodias way more then the expride because it feels very fluid throughout the cast, I think the butt has a lot to do with that. Its just a fun rod to use man.
  20. The casting rods are awesome, you picked a good rod!
  21. I probably made well over 100 inline spinners in the last 2 years. Its something that I find fun and dressing treble hooks is the best part. Send me a message and I can email you a step by step if you'd like.
  22. Man check out the new intenza rods!! Beautiful looking rods at a great price, they have a 7'2, 7'6 and a 7'11 glass cranking rod that are all awesome. I've got the 7'2 with plans on the 7'6 next season.
  23. I've got 2, sold my 2 curado k reels for them. I haven't looked back! The reel casts so flawlessly and the retrieval is very smooth. The mgl spool really helps with the casting performance, you can even swap the spool with the curado k if you'd like.
  24. Beautiful!!!! So is it like a jdm curado dc?
  25. I use 1of the curado200e and 1 of the 50e reels currently. The ones I'm not fishing with have been tuned up and put in reel cases for the mean time. I'll probably use them, im very good with my gear and haven't marked up a reel yet so. The reels case so well man and they feel so solid in the hands.
