  1. Why not take the rod, and give her a full systems check, trolling motor, livewell, fishability, you'll get plenty of time to break that motor in. Plus, if you don't bring a rod you know what will happen right? Schools of bass busting everywhere around you, lol! By the way I think your boat is sexy, call me weird!

That is one sexy boat! Get her dirty soon, so you can give her some character!
  3. Or as I was told "Aim small, miss small" plus it keeps buck fever from setting in.
  4. Exactly! http://www.megabassusa.com/ I'll take one of these http://www.megabassusa.com/products/71-hyper-lariat and this rod http://www.megabassusa.com/products/arms-a6505x-paraizo-0 oops, broke the budget, lol!
  5. You can use braid, who told you that you couldn't?
  6. Rim ditch anyone? Shhhh!
  7. Man you know how many times I have been pumped for nocturnal deer and never seen them. I hope you get them, are they still in velvet, or is it the pic?
  8. N I C E Man Shane I could have sworn you'd have a bigger Butterfly Peacock with the time on the water! What is the largest your client has landed? I bet you client was excited!
  9. Man that's great! Make sure you tell him to quit fishing with Legends of the Sport, they make him look old!
  10. For the record, I only use McCoy mean green as my go to Co-polymer. For braid IMO stick to Samurai, Suffix, or Power Pro Super slick all pretty good. Plenty of good rubber band line aka mono out there, Trilene XT, XL, and Big Game As far as flouro, I only use it for leader never as complete main line since I haven't found a good one that is limp enough and has he right qualities for casting. Leader material is not limp and is much more abrasion resistant, plenty of good leader line brands for flouro.
  11. I love it McCoy Mean Green is awesome copolymer! I use it primarily on my bait-casters for treble hooked lures and love every aspect of it from knot strength, to abrasion resistance, to limpness. I turned my Hawg Tech, partner, Mike, onto it a couple of years ago and he thinks its the best thing since the Hawg Handle!
  12. Sept 21 last 4 days
  13. I have teal first then dove. I bow hunt in the A.M. during rifle season in GA
  14. Clemson is now a solid 3rd place pretender behind Ohio State and Oregon, to meet Bama in the BCS title game. I really hope my Noles can upset the Tigers and somehow manage not to screw up their easy schedule with the one exception of the Gators. I feel for you Georgia fans since Spurrier is going to lay the smack down on the good ole' DAWGS next weekend.
  15. I know many of you have Dove season opener tomorrow, who is headed out? I wish we had it down here, but ours doesn't open until October, shoot we have Teal Season first.
  16. I have a PSE Bow Madness (Backup Bow) and a Mathews Drenalin! I like longer brace heights since I have a 30" draw, shoot both at about 68lbs.
  17. I can't wait to go in 2014! My goal is a teenage bass in lbs. lofty I know, but never give up!
  18. You are right I should have been more specific and said that at least 6 maybe 7 of the 14 total teams will be top 25 BCS teams by the end of the season. Name me another conference that will have at least .428 batting averaging of being in the top 25 by seasons end, I can't think of any? All conferences are going to have mediocre and bottom of the barrel teams, unfortunately the SEC has less of them. By the way I am a HUGE FSU fan and alumnus and wish the ACC was as powerful and dominate as the SEC.
  19. Bama will be tough to beat with Sab(t)an at the helm The rest of the SEC is a Powerhouse, but what goes up must come down and I hope it is soon. In my book the best coach in the SEC is still "the coach" in Steve, he does MUCH MUCH more with much less talent. So I would love to see a Bama vs. SC in the SEC championship. The rest of the college football conferences have not a chance against even middle of the pack SEC teams like the DAWGS, Texas A&M,or even I hate to say this the GATORS! Now for the rest of the contenders/pretenders for BCS Championship in order: 1. Ohio State (too bad last year they were not eligible, very weak schedule) 2. Oregon (Again very weak schedule) 3 or 4. FSU or Clemson (Won't be there in the end because they play SEC teams outside of weak conference schedule, FSU has the better chance to be ACC Champion) Final Prediction Alabama vs. Oregon in BCS Championship game
  20. Glad you choose to drop the charges and that the parents of these "punk kids" stepped up to the plate. We had a similar occurrence in my neighborhood that involved vandalism that would have been a felony arrest with some teenagers and some people wanted to press charges, but a felony charge especially at that age will ruin their life sending them down a bad road in life.
  21. I could have sworn my wife "shot the monkey," but not sure if it was in a dream or not, afraid to ask her. So your sighting confirms that HE IS ALIVE.
  22. Thanks for your kind words gentlemen! Being a small company with true fishermen and enthusiasts (Mike and I, lol) we realize what we would expect from a manufacture and pride ourselves in providing the best support for our customers. As far as the "new" swept handle its not officially released yet, since we are working on updating our database with fitment guides and our website for new product release. If anyone is interested in helping out with fitment of our new swept reel handles and you have a reel that we have not tested you could possibly qualify for a discount for your efforts. Please send an Email to robert@hawgtech.com to see if you could help. Thanks, Robert Hawg Tech, LLC
  23. Exactly, plus "set-ups" are free!
  24. Yeah you can target species all you want, but you cannot keep them. All our snook were quickly pictured and released after making sure they could right themselves and swim off. As soon as the season opens, the bite usually turns off, go figure!
