  1. That's what I've got too. It's a great reel
  2. Life stuff came up and haven't been able to make a purchase yet but will definitely be getting the tatula in about 2 weeks
  3. Just watched the videos, pretty sold on a Tatula. Those are really cool breaking systems. Thanks!
  4. I was looking at the LFS, but I think I'll try the Tatula. I've been a lews fan but haven't really tried any other brand so I'll definitely look into buying a tatula
  5. So out of all the reels I've owned Lews Tournament SK (TSK1SH) Bass Pro Shops Pro Qualifier Team Lews Pro Z Lews Carbon Fire (CF1SH) I like the original Carbon Fire the most. I love the feel of the spool and how far it casts. It's never given me any problems and has just been my solid go to reel. I'm looking for a reel similar to the carbon fire (the original one) that is a step up in quality.
  6. I'm from eastern NC but I can try to help a little. Lake Norman is a huge lake that's maybe an hour to two hour drive from Asheville. Its located right outside Charlotte
  7. Thanks everyone for the suggestions. What model hummingbird?
  8. I have a lake near me that is our city's drinking water and only allows their jon boats with trolling motors on the lake. I have absolutely zero clue what the bottom of this lake looks like and I would really like to get an idea. Ive looked at the Deeper 3.0, but have read some pretty bad reviews. I'm looking for something that doesn't require drilling and won't break the bank. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
  9. What's the difference? Can't seem to find anything on the internet
  10. Trick worms and buzzbaits are my go to. I usually fish trick worms right before it stArts getting dark then when the sun goes down I pull out the buzzbait
  11. Used this reel for about a year and stopped using it due to noise from the reel. Pulled it back out a couple days ago to break it down and clean it. After thorough cleaning, it works but something's still wrong. When I tighten the spool tension past a certain point (doesn't seem like that much to me), it will make a clicking noise. Its coming from the spool tension gear and it sounds like its not making solid contact with the main gear. Like its stripping sort of, but the gear doesn't show signs of stripping. Anyone encountered something like this? Suggestions? Thanks
