I am so sick of lures snapping off using braid and this never seems to occur when I'm using fluorocarbon so I really want to start using fluorocarbon for spinnerbaits , does anyone else use fluro for spinnerbaits??
That's seems to be the thinnest strongest most dependable braid in the market , probably going with that , I live in Michigan and it's not like the cover here is crazy heavy so do u think 50 pound would be good?
It's called The daiwa Tatula HLC (hyper long cast). Here is where it's sold http://japantackle.com/daiwa-tatulahlc.html
Shoud I use mono backing and tie a braid leader?
I just picked up a JDM Daiwa Tatula and I put 60 pound braid on it, it said it can fit 115 yards of 14 pound mono so I put the 60 pound (the equivalent) and realized there was only about 40 yards on my reel and I almost spooled myself! What should I do to make sure I have enough line on
P.S
I was using Black Fitzgerald Braid
I'm going to spool up my spinnerbait and jig setup with either 30 pound power pro braid or 17 pound fluorocarbon, I know that braid has no stretch which makes for better hook sets but I really love fluorocarbon, what line should I use
