  1. Hey yall, wondering if you guys have tried out the Diesel rod from Powell. I wana find a good rod that i can get 6 or 7 of to kinda keep as boat stalkers but dont wana break the bank. Also if yall have any suggestions for a low pried rod with light weight and sensativity....Thankx
  2. Welcome bro...Your guna love it here. You got some great gear....Hey, gu pick up a few swimbaits
  3. First off you have to find the key spots. And it seems like you know them. You said only a few spots that are 9- 8 feet deep. You gotta fish those spots. You need to fish the water efficently by covering water fast and elimination unproductive water. Fish a c rig with a baby brush hog.A crankbait tht keeps in contact with the .bottom, and when you find thoses deep spots cant go wrong with a drop shot, shakey head or even a tube/
  4. Yah buddy...we all get that every once and a while. the inportant part is that you understand why you arent getting those bites, then changing tactics, boat position or even location. Once you start understanding these key factors you will increse your bites every time.
  5. i had a dude tell me that if your boat sits for more than like 4 months your screwed....idk if its gummy but i figured its a safe bet
  6. yah, its a 150 merc optimax....runs great...havent started it for like 5 months. 2009
  7. Ok...so i havent fished for like 6 months from my boat cuz the local lake put a quarantine on the local boats. I have no idea if the engine is gummed up and dont know how to check. any suggestions, and also can someone give me an estimate if it is gummed up. I heared like 1200
  8. I fish lake casitas...notoriuse for some fat ol bass on swimbaits. If you throw a fast sinker to the dend of a point, turn your boat around, then drag it up the point. Brother let me tell you some big fish hit that sucker. Also i dont know your home lake, but if you have bluffs that drop really steep, then throw it right down them and slow roll it. Good lock Brother God Bless
  9. Obvioulsy im late onn the reply. Casitas is my home lake, i live in ventura and am up there like 4 times a week. Yah the shore line is a hard spot to fish from there, trust me i know. I used to fish from shore with only a few fish every once and a while, but we finaly got a nitro bass boa and are able to really fish the lake. send me a PM if u want any tips or whatever!!!!!
  10. Howdy yall. Im lookin to buy a good hunting recurve.I have 2 recurves at 30lbs. and another at36 lbs. My draw length is about a 31 inches. I know that most recurves pull 28 inches. Any help would be appreciated...oh and hunting for white tail anf boar. Thanx Guys!!!!!
  11. Ok.we were on the lake yesterday. We ran back to the docks to go home and when we switched it to neutral the engine kinda smoked a litte bit. And when we reved it onto the traior the same thing happened. We run a 150 opimax on a nitro z7. any ideas on what the problem is.
  12. when charging a nitro there is a red light that lights up and there is a green one to the right of it...when it is done charging will it turn green or am i being mentaly dense...Thanks guys
  13. oh so i was fishing clear lake and i replaced most o my soft plastic combos with braid and about a 8-12 pound floro leader....is that ok for clear high pressure water
  14. Ok guys. how the heck do u fish a 16 inch worm....the guys at my local tackle shop pored them and i had to get em....im guna fish em next time im out. i wana fish them on a c-rig....any suggestions
  15. so yeah guys thank for all the help, actually i used a suspended jerkbait and a jig spoon last time i was out and got the ones suspended on bait balls in like 30 feet and the ones that were suspended around shallow cover (15-20) were super finicky.
