  1. two nice dickheads? ;D ;D ;D ;D
  2. I don't think the rattles and clearer water have too much to do with not catching fish.
  3. No it's not. It's red because that's the color you chose to name it. You very easily could have grown up believing orange is purple and green is yellow.
  4. You boys need to stop rolling your meat and find a girlfriend.
  5. Why cant the human body interpret the wavelength into a different color. I think it can. It's only red because you were told/taught it was red. If you tell/teach an infant that what you and I see as red is blue, then the infant will relate red as being blue. Your eyes see red because your brain was taught that what your eyes see is red. You could have taught your brain to see red as blue. Then you'd think all redheads had blue hair.
  6. My Lew's reel arrived today, but with the handle on the WRONG FRICKING SIDE! > That's what happens when you make your order while you're half asleep. Oh well, you guys will have to wait a week or so for the review. :'(
  7. I had mine done too. And like Sam said, the worse part was the preparation. I sht all over myself trying to make a run for the toilet. The sht ran through my shorts, down my leg and muddied my socks. And to top it off, it happened in front of my wife. But don't worry Burley, you're still a man as long as your farts make a noise when they come out. ;D
  8. Do you plan on coming back? ;D
  9. Help me understand this thread because I think I'm lost. 1. A NRX rod was defected. 2. It was returned. 3. No wild card was used. 4. Loomis stood behind their work and replaced the rod at no cost to the owner. So what's the problem? : Hmmmm, I just took possession of my brand new $400k Bentley. Oh No, a scratch from the manufacturer. Holly Hell Batman, return the car and never buy one again because Bentley's must suck ;D.
  10. Could've custom rods that were painted white.
  11. I hope so because mine will be here Wednesday.
  12. I just ordered the CBR906 yesterday. It was $245. It's 7'6 M/H crankbait rod. I already have the 843. If you need a rod where sensitivity is an issue then do not get anything under the IMX model. In other words, don't buy the GL2 or GL3. You're not going to get the GLX for $250 but I believe you can get the IMX for that. As RW and others said, You can't beat the MBR843 or MBR844 as an all around rod. I personally liked the 843 because it was a tad lighter and easier to throw topwater plugs if I needed to.
  13. Ok, my new Lews will be here by the 12th. Along with my new Loomis crankin stick, because what good is a new reel without a new rod. AND I had to get some of those new Mega Bugs and a couple lipless cranks BECAUSE what good is a new rod and reel without some new tackle. :-?
  14. No experience with that line, but when the feeling in your hands diminish then by a Loomis.
  15. I'll be the guinea pig and buy one . They look good and it just made the "cut" as far as weight goes.
  16. If your motor isn't pinging and knocking, then you're paying to much for octane.
  17. Give everyone here 1K. Go to the Mercedes Benz dealership in my stinky, dirty fishing outfit and see how long it takes someone to wait on me. Then return with a 500K cash and say "it could have been yours"
  18. Do you want to crap in the comfort of your own toilet or in a public, pee infested toilet? ;D ;D Would you rather watch the game in the comfort of your own living room on your clean sofa or on a hard wooden chair amongst a bunch of drunk, screaming A' holes?
  19. Nice post and great pictures, but I cant help but laugh my ars off. The temps were in the low 70's and you look like you're dressed for a snow storm. ;D ;D ;D ;D
  20. The original True Grit is airing on the AMC channel this Saturday. Team PAMPERS should watch it.
  21. I think Lox Wildlife holds a couple in that weight class. We need to get a couple dozen, extra large wild shiners, our flippin sticks loaded with #25 mono and drift along the edges of the canal.
  22. I wanted more power and length. I currently have the 843, but don't like it for throwing cranks that run more than 8-10'. I really enjoy the 843, but it can be a bit too light at times. I was going to move up to the 845, but was considering moving up in length to the 7'6 903 model. I was also looking at this one http://www.gloomis.com/publish/content/gloomis_2010/us/en/conventional/rods/bass_rods/crankbait_deep_flex.html in the CBR864 model. Do you think the "deep flex" series is better than the regular crankbait series?
  23. I'd like to make more video's of my trips. I'd also like to get better at locating/catching bedding bass.
