  1. I have a few bags of Charlies' worms. Should have told me you needed some. :D . I've always use Culprit, Zoom and Charlies. Charlies is a good worm.
  2. That's what life is all about, time with your kids. Now that she's got the hang of it, she'll have to marry a poor, stinky fisherman. :D
  3. It's 40 bucks per boat. 5 bucks out of the 40 is put into the big bass pot. We had 24 boats. 24x5= 120. 3 of us had a bass that weighed 5.14. 120/3= 40 bucks apiece. The remaining 35 dollars goes into the main pot. We pay one place for every five boats. I took 1st place, which was $260. 260+40= 300.
  4. He's pissssed. I won 300 bucks
  5. Yea, ME.
  6. I am so stoked right now that I have to do a little bragging. "Hawk" called to tell me he couldn't fish the night tournament, 6p-10p, due to an emergency. I was feeling kind of bummed because he and I are in 4th place for the season, which ends in September, and it's a team trail. 24 teams showed up for the tournament and I was the only one fishing alone, putting me at a huge disadvantage. I fished the same hundred yard stretch all night and absolutely slayed'em. In fact, I stopped fishing at 9:10 and went back to the boat ramp to relax, knowing dang well I had this tournament in the bag. I figured I had about 18-19 pounds of fish (5 fish limit), but as it turned out, I was off a little bit with my calculation. I had 22.13 pounds with 3 fish over 5 pounds, 5.14, 5.11, 5.1 and took 1st place. 2nd place had 17 pounds. As if 1st wasn't enough, I also had big fish. The only bad thing though was 3 of us tied for big fish at 5.14 . (I still can't figure out how that happened). Man what a night! Oh yea, get this. I only had 6 hits ALL night and managed to boat 5 of them. The 6th one wrapped me around a sprinkler pipe. Like I say, "KVD ain't got nothing on ME!" Equipment used; Loomis NRX 893 Lews Tornament Pro #10 Yozuri GY Senkos
  7. You mean to tell me that you gave up Cobia and tails for corned beef?
  8. What time should I arrive for dinner? I'll bring the apple pie.
  9. I watch it all the time and thoroughly enjoy the show. I do fing it odd that someone with such high regard for the English language, cough, cough....such as yourself, would be interested in watching the show with the way they butcher every word coming out of their mouth.
  10. There's a new alcoholic drink called the Bin Laden. It's consists of 2 shots and a splash of water.
  11. Usually sometime in April.
  12. 1/2 to 1 ounce jig, 50-60 pound braid and heavy flipping stick is all you need. Oh yea, don't forget to wear a lower back brace.
  13. Are you kidding me? What canal in S.Florida doesn't have a car, shopping cart, bicycle or some other piece of trash in it?
  14. acres and acres and acres of muck scraping would be great. I'd love to wade on some hard sand bottom without sinking in muck. Has anyone noticed what the bottom is like from where they scraped the muck away last time?
  15. Hmmm, If I had to choose just one reel, even though I don't use it very often, would be my Shimano Calcutta. I have several models and they're all excellent. I believe you would be hard pressed to find a more dependable, workhorse of a reel.
  16. His body was dropped into the sea from a helicopter. I would like to have the spent shell casing(s) that took him out. How cool would that be?
  17. Very, very true. Especially having cells located everywhere.
  18. Sometimes in life you have to do things without being able to reasonably justify them. Bro, get one. Even if you have to save 50 bucks a month for darn near a year.
  19. Longer rods move fish faster than shorter rods.
  20. Those sound like the same conditions that are going on right now on my home tournament lake, except the cold weather. Water level is way low and dirty. I would concentrate (and have been) on structure, particularly in the 3-7' range. I would use a flashy Pointer Minnow, spinnerbait, jig, rattletrap (chrome) and Senkos. Work all structure thoroughly with all baits until you find which works best. More than likely it will be a couple baits, but the ones mentioned should produce hits. Lastly, there are over 150 fish released from the same boat ramp every month on my home lake. Do NOT forget to fish that area. You only have 2.5-3 hours to fish, so concentrate on staying close to the launch site as possible and targeting those fish.
  21. Who in the heck in the White House had the bright idea of having those two bright lights on in the background during the President's speech. They were blinding.
  22. I can't wait to find out how met his end. His body needs to be ground up in a meat grinder and flushed down the toilet.
  23. TT is saying the same thing I and a few others on here have been saying since they came out. And did yall notice what rod TT has it on? Yep, that's right. Loomis NRX. I have 2 T-Pro's on NRX rods, which makes a super sweet combo.
  24. Best news all year, decade. About fricking time
  25. Hip Hip Hooray It's about fricking time. I hope his head came off. Too bad there's somebody, somewhere ready to take his place.
