  1. How do you turn the camera while it's under water? Does the screen have a light for night fishing?
  2. Come on now. We all know Avid would say anything just to have a decent photo taken of himself. \\ Congrats Steve. Another 6 yrs and you'll move up to full member.
  3. It's nothing to go out and catch 10-20 Peacocks in a couple hours now. I was thinking over the next 10-15 years.
  4. I was thinking the same. I hope their heads were braced into the headrest before going under.
  5. What a F****** idiot.
  6. It seems as though the Peacocks are moving further north in S.Florida. I'm finding them as far north as northern Palm Beach County, and in decent sizes. Does anyone think there is a possibility of them taking over the bass population? I think they are a beautiful looking fish and put up a great fight. From what I understand though, they do not survive very well in the live well for tournaments.
  7. Come on Jason, We know you can pull this off. You can do it in between changing diapers and burping Jr. October sounds good to me. How about the rest of yall? It won't be sooooo HOT. It will give those who need to, time to save the money to go. And give me time to build up a jon boat in case they won't allow gas.
  8. good one.
  9. Don't believe her. Payback is HELL.......
  10. 15 1st round.

  12. Fishing? What's fishing?
  13. 93? Not too bad.. hehehe. That's awesome.
  14. That's great news. Sounds like your strong and healthy. And good choice by staying away from those pain pills as long as possible. Thos things can be VERY addicting so be careful. Peace....
  15. I have the sol and curado 100. HMMMMMMM. I am currently using the Sol on a 7' Loomis crank bait rod. CBR 843. Med, fast action. I really like this set up. I use it for top water and small cranks, like down to 5'. The Curado though is sweet also and, IMO, may be a tad smoother in casting and distance. I've been using a Fluke on the 100 outfitted w/ a Loomis 7' MBR 843c M/H. It cast effortlessly and far. I don't think you could go wrong with either one.
  16. I think you pretty much covered it all except for maybe shiners and hand grenades.
  17. I think he's probably lurking around somewhere in the shallows, keeping an eye out on us. You out there little fella? Give us a splash every now and again.
  18. That's great. You need to send that to Jay Leno.
  19. That was too cool. I was ready to eat the paper.
  20. You had nothing before this site was made. ALL members and guests bring this forum to life, not just one individual. No one forces you to leave unless you break the rules set forth by Glenn, which are very clear. Most of us may never know what caused his departure but I'm sure it was his choice. He will be missed by many but don't insult the rest of us here that contribute to what this site really is by saying it is nothing without him. There are many great, experienced fisherman on here that have a wealth of knowledge and take the time to pass that knowledge on to those who ask. This forum does not revolve around one individual but rather exists because of the members that put forth their knowledge, humor and ideas. And that's MY .01 worth on the matter.
  21. 73 year round. I'll turn it up to 75 in summer while at work but back to 73 when I get home.
  22. I don't use the magnetic brake that often. But, IMO, your spool is set to tight if you were casting a 1/2 lure and the spool stopped dead when the lure hit. You will get much longer casts if you loosen the spool a bit and learn to use your thumb to stop the spool.
  23. Living Will WHILE I WAS WATCHING THE TV ONE WEEKEND, MY WIFE AND I GOT INTO A CONVERSATION ABOUT LIFE AND DEATH AND THE NEED FOR LIVING WILLS. DURING THE COURSE OF THE CONVERSATION I TOLD HER THAT I NEVER WANT TO EXIST IN A VEGETATIVE STATE, DEPENDENT ON SOME MACHINE AND TAKE LIQUIDS FROM A BOTTLE. SHE GOT UP, UNPLUGGED THE TV AND THREW OUT ALL MY BEER. SOMETIMES IT'S TOUGH BEING MARRIED TO A SMARTASS.
