  1. I swear I was thinking the same thing....
  2. Nice fish and I also miss lightinrods posts, not that yours are bad Randall. It's about time Lightinrod got off his boss' pond.
  3. True, as long as you don't trespass to grt to the waters edge. Like walking through their yard.
  4. I want homemade corn bread, baked beans and ribs. Do you think he can handle that order? Didn't think so...lol.....
  5. I always unplug the t/m before charging and even when not charging. Heres one reason why. I have a bow mount T/M (hand controlled). Someone accidently turned the handle to ON, causing the prop to rest against the bow of the boat, unable to spin. The motor got VERY hot but luckily was not damaged before I noticed it.
  6. How many needy families are fed the fish that are being slaughtered? It breaks my heart and quite frankly ticks me off to read about things like this. And it seems like their reason for doing it doesn't justify anything.
  7. From the mouth of Billy Madison, "Don't ever say that. Stay young as long as you can."
  8. Jimzee, you made me feel guilty with the carrots so I ate some seedlees grapes. Then topped that off with a balogna sandwich with chips and soda.
  9. Get that junk outta here! LOL.....
  10. Dang, Yall put my crunch berries to shame. That's it, I"m lighting the grill.
  11. I held one the other day and was surprised at how heavy it was too. I did not like it and I'm a HUGE Loomis fan. Go with the 7.5 flippin stick mossyback. It's lighter and will work fine.
  12. Was thinking the same thing.
  13. For all of you insomnia peeps. I"m about ready for a bowl of Cap't Crunch Berries.
  14. Prayer sent brotha.
  15. I noticed the glass ones do slip out a bit but they are noisier than plastic. Or different sound anyway.
  16. How yall carry open?
  17. yes it sure can. PLEASE pay your rent and bills BEFORE you load your poker account. I just lost the equivalent of 2 G-Loomis GLX's in one hand and boy am I
  18. And these dumb tards vote.
  19. You wouldn't say that if you saw the front.
  20. I carry two everyday and all day when I'm out of the house. I carry a .38 Smith and Wesson Airweight in my shorts pocket at all times. If I'm not wearing shorts then I always carry a Glock 40cal model 22 on my side. And yes, sometimes I carry both on me. I also sometimes carry my Benelli Super 90 semi-auto 12gauge shotgun and AR-15.
  21. I agree with Clunn to a point. But then again who am I compared to him? Wait a minute, who says I can't be as good as him. I use 7' rods for ALL applications ecxept for Flipping and large swimbaits. All my rods weigh within 1 oz of eachother. I try to make my reels all the approximate weight but not necessarily the same brand. I do HATE going from heavy to light or light to heavy.
  22. I'm talking strictly worms. I think flukes give enough action w/out rattles.
  23. I tried fishing from the bank but got tired of making the long casts across the parking lot.
  24. Two words for ya... HELL NO! I'll meet you anywhere in S. Florida for a week and teach you plenty to get you started for , lets say $800? I'll supply ALL tackle, rods, reels
  25. My buddy puts a rattle in his worm everytime he uses one. ( That did not come out right) He won't fish T-rig plastics without one. We started fishing night tournaments and somehow got me to try them out. I use rattles all the time at night now with my T-rig worms. Then I got to thinking, I fish so slow at night using worms that I wonder if the rattle is making any noise due to the lack of bouncing the worm off the bottom with any type of force. Has anyone ever tried using a brass worm weight and glass bead like in the C-rig? Only without the swivel and leader. Just let the bead and weight rest against the worm. It seems to me that the weight and bead would produce more noise then a rattle. Thanks for the replies.
