  1. Hmmm, let me ask the.....nevermind.
  2. No worry. I was just curious. Calcuttas weigh enough without having to add a heavier handle.I was hoping to shave a 1/4 ounce, haha. I need one asap if they'll fit. Longer handle of equal/less weight is a win in my book. Haha, we hit the enter button at the same time. And don't listen to BassClary, he can't even ride a scooter without breaking it :laugh5:
  3. Haha, you too? I'm still picking up the pieces of mine. Those type of responces need to have a WARNING for us fragile minded folk.
  4. Does the weight of the handle include the nut, screw and sleeve that goes over the nut? I'm ready for a new, longer handle on my Calcutta (if yours will fit). My Calcutta handle is 29.2g and 32.9 with the hardware.
  5. Congrat's on your new product, I hope it brings you much success. I was cursing my Calcutta the other day for not having a longer handle for my crank baits. I hope your handle will fit it and hold up to the HAWGS in the "rock pit." Please keep us posted on when you're ready to take orders.
  6. Are you sure it has gas, haha. And it's not broken, it came with pedals.
  7. get a Vespa
  8. I read the Pa statute governing the reporting of child sex/abuse. Shockingly, it appears JoeP was only obligated by law to report the incident to his superiors, and not to law enforcement. The superiors are then obligated by law to contact law enforcement. Talking about "passing the buck." More than 40 states require the allegations to be made directly to law enforcement or child services. In these states, merely telling your superior is not good enough. Hopefully, Pa will pass legislature to require certain people to report abuse directly to law enforcement/child services and not be able to "pass the buck" by only telling their superiors.
  9. To avoid tickets by taking advice from bass fisherman, I would suggest asking a local traffic cop in your STATE. You could also possibly find the answer by going to your local driver license bureau. You can also google the traffic laws for your state. I can give you the regulations for Florida but that may not help you in Va.
  10. Gun control starts with a good grip and sight allignment., hahahaha
  11. I could switch to lefty, but I like being normal,
  12. He didn't want to spook his readers,
  13. I thought the same thing. Maybe he fiddled with the door alarm. Now that I think about it, a lot of the theaters back in the "day" had you exit from the non-alarmed exit doors next to the screen and not the main doors in which you entered the lobby. The exit doors next to the screen allowed everyone to see if someone from the inside opened the door to let someone on the outside in. I wondar how many of those theaters still have you exit that way?
  14. That's why you practice, practice and practice. How much safety is there in a theater? But I do agree, a gun in the hands of someone who only carries because "they can" could cause more harm than good.
  15. Wrong. Things get MUCH worse by NOT confronting an active shooter, who mostly go on shooting/killing until they are stopped or run out of victims. That guy had only one thing on his mind and that was to KILL. Being a kitty cat isn't going to save you in that type of situation.
  16. Thanks for the report. I think I'm going to skip the trip. Getting up at 4:30a, getting home at 1:30p and going straight to work makes for a LONG day. I have a lot going on at work right now and I need to be on my toes. Going to the inlet to meet you allows me to get home and take a nap before going in. BTW, I also heard good things about the Black Dog.
  17. No. And the receipt doesnt show proof. You also cannot tell one GLX or IMX rod from the next. meaning no serial numbers or markings. I have a couple Loomis rods from the 80's and no receipt. I can still use the expeditor service and get a "comparible" rod as replacement, I think. I know I could 2 yrs ago but who knows now with all the changes. Your best bet would be to call ShimanoLoomis and ask them.
  18. I wear white, blue or gray because those colors pretty much make up my whole t-shirt wardrobe. My boat is red and I'm pretty confident it doesn't scare the fish away. I use white, pink or black Senkos and I know for a fact they don't scare the fish away. I'd be more concerend with the fish feeling my vibrations while walking the bank. That will MOST CERTAINLY spook them. I'd also limit my banging around and noisy conversations because that too WILL CERTAINLY spook the fish.
  19. I do too, until my back end sinks between the cushions.
  20. How do you prove "original ownership?" I'm not encouraging you to lie about being the original owner but how will Loomis know. I believe, and I may be wrong, but that may apply to only warranty work. The expeditor service is $100 no questions asked (excluding NRX series). This service is NOT a warranty service.
  21. Yea, I forgot about you. You beter stick to ordering movies on pay per view and stay out the theaters.
  22. Those aren't butt cracks. They are seperated cheeks.
  23. Another example of why I would carry, even if I wasn't a deputy sheriff. This could happen anywhere and anytime. Are you prepared? For those of you who carry, please PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE. http://www.google.co...ZSAi2ZFj0CQaPwg
  24. Fun catch on the m/h spinner. I was invited to go on the Southern Comfort charter boat this coming Tuesday from 6a-12p. Boat is 40+ feet and is only taking 11 people. I really don't want to go but my uncle is kind of counting on me. How has the bottom fishing been out of Boynton? I've caught enough kings in my time that I really don't care to go sweat my ars off on a party boat and spend 75 bucks, haha.
