  1. I hate to admit it but that's a cool looking "Yankee Mobile."
  2. She's becoming quite the pro at catching those kitty cats. I wish my father-in-law took my wife fishing when she was a kid because she hates going. Which isn't a bad thing most of the time. Do you wear the same necklace when you catch your HAWGS? I bet you do . Hahahaha, you're going to go get a spinnerbait out of your box and find they are all missing their blades.
  3. You want pic's? Then turn YOUR T.V on!!!!!!!
  4. I'd start at 2900 and end at 3400.
  5. None. You didn't put Loomis on your list so I aint voting.
  6. I just tuned in as the swimsuit competition was starting. My top 4 are S.Africa, Japan, Columbia and USA. No particular order.
  7. Hmmmmm. Hand blisters and sore forearm from playing ? Sure you were. Just be careful the wife don't walk in on ya
  8. Heres a tip. Go to lake. Cast. Reel in. Cast. Reel in. In other words, practice, practice, practice.
  9. Glenn said it....become an "youknowwhat" for awhile.Call the cops on every little thing they do...I can promise they'll be out and moved before the summer's over by then.
  10. I asked politely the first time and gave them a chance but I ended up calling the authorities.
  11. and I ain't takin it no more. We had some long time neighbors sell their house and move closer to their job to save gas. Well, they sold it cheap for a quick sale. Now that owner has rented it to some Hatians. So far the roof has gone from gray to black from not cleaning it, the lawn is up to your knees and they have a stack of violation notices piling up. No big deal for me since I live 2 house down and to the rear. Until tonight. The party started at 4pm and it is now 1:26am. A person can only take so much Creole music and jibberish. I decided to walk over there and ask for'em to take it inside. I was walking between the houses and walked smack into the middle of a spider web. I felt the spider on my neck as spider web covered my upper body and face. I fricking hate spiders. So now I'm ticked off. I finally got an answer after banging down the front door but it was like talking to a wall. I guarantee I will win this battle. They shoulda played some Hank Jr.
  12. Nice catch! The first and second one have great color to'em and nice beer bellies.
  13. Simply COOL!!!!! It's great to be out with the kids, no matter how bad they screw our gear up. It's like nothing they do "wrong" is wrong. I can't believe you got her to hold that kitty. What did you do, bribe her with Barbie dolls?HAHAHA...You've got yourself the best fishing partner you'll ever have....
  14. NO goldfish bait in Florida. Don't do it. EVER!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Yep. I know of 1/2 dozen or so.
  16. TROUBLE!!!!!
  17. Get a 48" bottom. You will be much happier.
  18. I don't run the heater here in S. Florida. One extra blanket usually works just fine. The a/c however is a different story. My last bill was $286. I hate to see July and August.
  19. Meeeeeeow!!!! Awesome kitty bro. Now you got my mouth just a waterin' for some kitty nuggets, baked beans and potato salad. I guess PB&J will have to do for now..
  20. This boat was given to me for free. It is 15 1/2 feet long and 67" wide, across the top. I would like to install the following: 1. bilge pump 2. bow mount T/M, possibly 24 volt. 3. running lights 4. dry storage 5. live well/fish box 6. deck but probably not the whole boat. 7. two raised swivel seats 8. paint The biggest problem I see so far is the broken rail on the port side. About 8 inches of the rail is torn of and the side of the boat has about a 4 inch tear. Is this repairable? I'm pretty handy working with wood but not aluminum. I have access to two people who have their own welding companies and can weld aluminum but they live about 20 miles away. Perhaps they can fix the tear. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and steps to follow. Thanks for the help.
  21. I only had #10 Stren laying around from when my Uncle left it here. I'm not a Stren fan but I just wanted to try the rod out. The Stren is deffinately coming off. My primary crank rod is a Diawa Sol on a Loomis CBR843. The spinning rod is just for funning around. Jayhawk, I put 100% Flourocarbon on at least 5 of my rods but found it to get very brittle. I'm not a big fan of braid either unless I'm fishing in thick, matted grass. I've been experimenting with Yozuri Hybrid #12 and #15 for the past couple months and so far seem to like it. But It's only on my baitcasters. I will try the Ultrasoft on my spinner but I have to order it. Can't find it down here. I have also used Suffix and from what I remember it wasn't that bad.
  22. That may not be all that weird. I knew a few old timers who would use big bamboo rods with #30-40 mono about 8' long tied to the end. They would go out at night on their boat and zigzag a big top water plug (noisy one) in and out of the lily pads and grass. They would catch some monsters.
  23. Thanks buddy. I figured you'd pop up if I posted a fish. How's summer treating you? We need some pic's of your HAWGS so get out there and wet a line.
  24. what type of sinker are you using and how are you tying it on?
  25. I bought a Loomis 7 1/2, medium spinning rod for light jigs, tubes and small cranks. The rod felt way too light when I took it out of the shipping tube and I considered sending it back. Well, I figured I would try it out anyway. I spooled my Stradic with #10 mono and tied on a 1/4oz tube. After 15 minutes and no hits, I figured the tube was the wrong bait to be using and got ready to go home. I was walking the bank, heading back to the truck, when I saw a huge carp tailing in the shallows. I made 2 casts at the carp and on the 2nd cast, BAM. This would of been my 1st carp but I didn't think they would hit a jig. I'm just goofing around with this fish, testing out the backbone on my new rod, and then it jumped. Wholly crud, that ain't no Carp. I swear this bass must have been piggy backin on that carp because I reeled my tube right on top of the carp when the bass hit. Anyway, here she is. I didn't weigh her but I guess 4 pounds. The set I was using.
