  11. It was pot limit. I finished 6th and won 300+. Not bad for a 22 dollar buy in. Some A-hole rivered me. He chased the only card that could beat me and hit.
  12. That's like saying Ford was the first to come out with the CAR and everyone else stole the idea. One day you will wake up and realize the luxury of fishing is fishing with a SHIMANO.
  13. Down to six.
  14. I think that through my extensive knowledge of fishing, and what I have learned and am currently learning in marketing could promote your product in ways a lot of people could not. Replace think with "know." Be confident and shorten it up.
  15. Thanks . I'm still in it. I play on Poker Stars.
  16. I've been playing this Omaha hi/lo tourny for 5 hours and 28 minutes. I'm in 2nd place and 8 of us left out of 351. I'm tired as heck and have to get up for work in 6 hours but I foresee a new Loomis in the near future if I can hang in there. The wife already came out yelling at me "DOUG, when are you coming to bed?" In a minute dear.(that was 45 minutes ago)
  17. Sounds good is right. It's like hearing that soft, sexy voice over the phone and then you find out she's the size of Orca and as ugly as a baboon. Just kidding, they are good.
  18. I just ordered 65 dollars in more junk from BPS.. NO tax but they charged me 9.95 in standard shipping.
  19. Mine are double that.
  20. I think the bait monkey and ALL of his relatives live in Florida.
  21. Do you live in a plague infested swamp?
  22. Nothing at all. The Florida rig is relatively new. I think someone came up with the name to push their product. They sell a certain type of sinker that has a rubber **** type insert to prevent the sinker from sliding up/down the line. Used for flipping heavy cover. It's gimmick if you ask me.
  23. There was a thread somewhere on here the other day in reference to tackle/reel manufacturers offering rebates or sales on their products due to the economy. Well, this was on the news tonight here in Florida. From Fox News. Fishermen add big bucks to state economy WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - The federal government says recreational saltwater fishermen pumped more than $31 billion into the U.S. economy in 2006, with Florida leading the pack. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration says in a report released Monday that saltwater anglers spent $5.8 billion nationwide on expenses related to their fishing trips, such as ice and bait. Another $25.6 billion was spent on fishing equipment. Florida anglers led the nation by spending more than $16 billion. Texas fishermen came in second with just over $3 billion spent, followed by California, Louisiana and North Carolina. The report says the money spent nationally supported nearly 534,000 jobs. Officials say those figures will likely drop for 2007 and 2008 because of current economic woes.
