I would venture to say that Jupiter inlet is probably the hottest Snook spot on the eastern coast, including Sebastian.

Warmer, He is coming down in Feb., which is the middle of winter here in Florida. Sure, he can have a pretty successful day bass fishing but if a front moves in then he is going to be SCREWED. and I don't care who his guide is.. Fishing saltwater is only another option for him. Sailfish, kingfish, snook, trout and many other species are good fish to target this time of the year. He will have a better chance of catching a "bragging" size saltwater fish then he will a 13 pound bass. 13 pound fish aren't caught on a regular basis around here, bedding or not.

It depends. Are you fishing with braid in saltwater? I would not use braid with ceramic guides when fishing for kingfish, wahoo or other reel burning fish. The amount of friction caused between the guides and line will heat up and cause damage to the guides when these fish make long, hard, fast runs.

I caught my 1st bass on an ABU when I was about 5 or 6 yrs old. In fact, I learned how to fish using that ABU. No push button or soinning reels. BUT, the reel in my picture is NOT an ABU. It is a Calcutta TE100DC..

I haven't fished Boynton inlet in a long time. I sometimes fish the dock behind the Marine unit and catch a few. I almost refuse to fish on the jetty when there are lots of people on it. Especially on the weekend nights. Too many drunks and A## ***** that aren't fishing causing a ruckus.

Don't worry, I don't kiss and tell I only have a couple spots that I fish. I've been fishing them for 34 yrs now. (wow , that's long. :'( ) I occasionally fish the Jupiter inlet but most of my fishing is done around the West Palm Beach area. I like the Okeechobee Blvd bridge and all surrounding docks that are lit.

I'm not too proud to admit it.. I don't think my nuts are big enough for that. They must go through a lot of skis.

Did you go this morning. This west wind sucks but I bet the Blues were still out there. I haven't been this year, yet, but did pretty good lat year.
