  1. My goodness what a pain in the BASS. I was infected too. Glenn supposedly found the culprit and kicked it's ars. Glenn also showed me how to fix my computer, which I just finished after almost 3 hours.
  2. Glenn, My computer is having the exact same problem. It was fine when I turned it off for dinner. I came home and turned it on. I went straight to BR via firefox and all heck is breaking loose. I opened Tournament Talk. I then opened "anyone fish bass open." I then clicked on the link Riverfisher posted and that's when it started. His link never opened but I'm getting all sorts of Porn sites and security antivirus alerts. I can't even run my own clean-up. I can't even play solitaire under my games in Programs. It's taking me about 10 minutes just to type this because of the stupid pop-up.
  3. Here's another one for you' http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1261336840 The search button works wonders.
  4. Here's another YOU started. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1260498532
  5. Here's a thread you already started. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1260262319
  6. It worked for me but it was Red Man Golden Blend. I fell asleep about 3am and woke up a half our later from the juice trickling down my throat.
  7. Who was the guy who put his push button on a steez rod?
  8. or in the silverware drawer or between your mattress or in the ice box or under the couch or ...... Just leave it on your rod but loosen the drag when not in use.
  9. I bought and used these for my jon mod. The welding rods worked great and I'm nowhere close to being a welder. The boat has been left tied to the dock for 8 months now and guess what, ZERO leaks. Here is some advice if you decide to use the welding rods and propane torch. Practice on some aluminum first. It is very easy to get the hang of using them. I believe I have a handful of rods left over in my garage. PM me your address and I'll send you a couple to try out. You'll just have to buy the propane torch. Wal-Mart, Home Depot and hardware stores carry torch. http://www.aluminumrepair.com/aluminum_repair.asp Here are the ones I bought. http://www.alumiweld.com/
  10. That really sucks, I hope everything works out for the best. Here is some advice. Have someone else write the letter for you.
  11. Murky water and hydrilla, hmmmm. Try a white/chartreuse spinnerbait. Try some of these over the top of the hydrilla http://www.***.com/descpageLFSPLFSB-LFLMS.html#pImage Try bouncing jigs/craws out of the pockets.
  12. Try fishing the wind blown side of the pond.
  13. Gently flush with fresh water after EVERY use, and that doesn't mean wait until the next day. DO NOT force the water into the reel.
  14. It's about as sensitive as any other mono. I've been using Yozuri for a couple years and rate it 8 out of 10 overall. I'd give it a 3 out of 10 when it comes to memory. Berkley has far less memory but isn't as strong as Yozuri. I change the line on my reels about every 3-4 weeks so the memory isn't really an issue. Some folks like to use KVD line conditioner on their line but I'm hesitant to use anything other than water.
  15. I hope Long Mike doesn't read this. I fish flukes almost exclusively. The Arkansas Shiner produces best for me and I fish it weightless.
  16. That was GRRRRRRRRREAT!
  17. Man, my last year tourney partner would bring 8 rods with him and it would drive me NUTS. Especially since he only used 2 or 3 each tourney. I too made him put his rods next to his seat and off my front deck. You should be able to narrow your rod selection down a bit by studying the lake you're going to be fishing. Consider the time of year and the type of fishing the boater will be doing. If he spends his time in deep water then a flipping stick and jerkbait rod probably won't do you much good. Even though I don't, I could get away with 3-4 rods in a tourney. I may have to re-tie often but at least my rods will be safer and less tangled.
  18. I have done business with them a few times. The company is legit and you shouldn't have anything to worry about. My baits did however take a considerable amount of time to arrive.
  19. Come on Russ, tell the truth. You took your nephew to see Santa when all of a sudden you were mistaken as a runaway elf . You're now sitting in the North Pole wearing a little green suit and a pointed, fluffy hat assembling snoopy rods.
  20. Zoom super fluke Lake Fork swimbait shad 7.5" Zoom or Culprit worm Senko 6" Zoom or Culprit worm Smokin Rooster. Don't need more than that.
  21. first video second video-click on picture.
  22. I have been saying the same thing from the beginning. And what gets me are the ones who claim to be his "internet" friend. Come on guys, wake up. This clown became your "friend" by posting a few fishing topics and giving you some good tips. After becoming YOUR friend he went and sold YOU stolen property. Geeeeeez, who needs enemies with friends like him.
  23. I bet she knew what was up, this had to be his full time job.
  24. I feel your pain. I went out today in shorts, sneakers, long sleeve shirt and hoodie. I only managed to catch about 8 because a COLD front came through. It was in the 60's by noon time. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
  25. Ummm, let me think. I've never met you and have ZERO clue what you like and dislike but I think you'll like it. Especially with a cherry coke and snocaps. Well, I just meant: would the typical person, who doesn't watch much sci-fi like it? LOL, let's look at like this. I don't like the rain or trees, so do you think I will like the Rain Forest?
