  4. Oh boy I read a great book long ago about a obsessed captain Ahab & his quest for Moby Dick, I in my own way am obsessed with fishing for giant fish. ? The quest is really simple and complex at the same time. The next bite always brings the possibility & makes me fell young at heart. Rick

Thanks great information, I'm fishing lakes for the most part 90--10 lakes to rivers. we have had a giant hatch here in central Canada I'm located just north of the minn - North Dakota state line. Surface water temps are anywhere from 76 to 84 degrees. Im going to try a fly behind a floating rap. Let us know how you fair on your upcoming adventure. good luck Rick

  10. Hi, just looking for a little help in getting bite in the midst of a mayfly hatch any go to baits or style of presentation that seems to get the bass to bite? A tad perplexed Rick
  11. I'm rigging up a wacky rig rod & a niko rig rod to give them both a honest try both with #2 hooks. That means more than 10 minutes of not catching a fish and not changing back to my go to baits. :-)) Rick

I've been on both sides of this 1 have to think of all the time my parents had to have unconditional love for me changing sh***ty diapers potty training comforting me when I'll. My attitude of gratitude & zero expectations of them allowed me to enjoy them. My dad is gone now & id trade a lot to have another day with him. Don't let your attitude ruin your what is & what might have been. cheers rick

  20. Being a finess walleye guy for many years allowed me to learn that slightest tic or the light bait is even lighter than it should be. SET THE HOOK mentally really what do you have to lose but a fish. Lol my 2 cents Rick
  21. I just wanted to post a very sincere thank you to the people of Bass Resouces . The unparalled details that are posted on a how to & results of doing so have helped me in my bass quest. I in turn don't ever take credit for using methods that I have learnt on this great forum.
