  1. Missed out on the Garmin UHD because I'm lazy and they are sold out. I figure I could get a similar deal in March, but are there any other major sales I should be looking out for where I might be able to get a deal like that on electronics?
  2. Interesting. I've seen people say you van get fuego for $60, but I've can only find it for $100. Do tbey go on sale often?
  3. 13 Fishing Fate Black ORIGIN Baitcasting Comb Daiwa Tatula CT with MH Diawa AIRDX ROD
  4. The beauty of a kayak tournament is that it's catch, photo, release. There is no need for weigh in or large gatherings. Really not sure why you commented.
  5. Would you stay shallow? Lake is mostlystandi g timber and brush. Appreciate the response.
  6. I'll be fishing a 550 acre lake in north central oklahoma. (Lone Chimney Lake) Were expected to get a cold front with some rain on friday and the tempature is going to drop from a high of 71 today down to high of 49 on friday. Saturday(tournament day) its supposed to be in mid 50s but the tempature at stsrt time will be 40 degrees. My plan was to fish shallow and find some spawning fish with a jig, swim jig, and senko. How should I alter my approach with the cold front moving in? Thank you
  7. Should have looked a little closer. Thank you.
  8. Anyone know when they will release the flyer for the Bass Pro Classic?
  9. I'm looking to upgrade my fishfinder on my Kayak and stumbled upon this. https://www.lowrance.com/lowrance/type/reconditioned/rfb-hook2-7-tripleshot-us-inland/ seems like a good deal for what it offers. Is it as good as it looks or can anyone provide some suggestions for finders cheaper than this. thank you!
  10. Awesome responses guys. Considered 6th sense subscription box but honestly they have so many baits I'm afraid I woukd get confused. I have a quality selection of lipless as they are probably my favorite lure
  11. I've been avoiding getting into the crankbait game for awhile but my next baitmonkey purchase is going to be a lot of crankbaits. Ideally I have around $75 to spend. If you were beginning to build a box of crankbaits for Oklahoma what you start with? Predominately kayak fishing from March through September.
  12. I've never been more tempted to buy a side scan fish finder !
  13. You're never going to eliminate the wind. I will say a quality kayak and an anchor trolley makes it significantly more manageable. If you are serious about it, a pedal drive makes it even easier.
  14. It's time to start prepping for a tournament on Konawa on April 20th. Anyone have some tips for that lake? Never been and will only have 1 day of prefish. Tight lines -
  15. For the last five days the temperatures in my area (Western Oklahoma) have ranged from 65-77 degrees. Tomorrow, when I planned on fishing, the high is going to be 56. I planned on leaving work at noon and hitting the lake, but the 15+ degree temperature drop has me worried. Do you feel like this drop will hurt the fishing? The last two times I’ve been to this lake I’ve got a fish over 5lbs in the flat outside a creek channel. Appreciate any advice!
