  1. I do own fly gear and have some awesome damselflies that I used every summer in Colorado, upon a time, for bows. Good call
  2. At my honey hole lately, I’ve been seeing some nice bass literally fly out of the water for these huge dragonflies. It’s a feeding frenzy. I know Lunkerhunt makes a dragonfly imitation, so I’m thinking about adding that to the cart to experiment. Any recommendations? I’m not exaggerating when I’m saying that these dragonflies are HUGE
  3. Two recommendations: Hard Bait- Mann’s Baby One- Minus. Keep your rod tip high and work it slowly Soft Bait- Zoom Ultra Vibe Speed Worm. Weightless, the tail will kick up a nice wake. Retrieve it as soon as it hits the water with the rod tip at a 45 degree angle
  4. So true my man!
  5. Do you own a bike. When I used to live by a canal, I would bike from one spot to another and just have a ball. You can cover a lot of ground.
  6. First order from Academy. Really looking forward to trying these H2O baits for the first time. Happy with the price, hope the quality is solid
  7. May you show a pic of this rigged fluke you’re talking about. I’m really interested Thanks!
  8. Zoom and Berkley Powergrubs are my favorite brands. My top 3 colors are: pumpkinseed, white, and chartreuse honorable mention: Kalin’s Ron’s Craw, which is dynamite here in AZ
  9. I love that bait too! Despite squeezing the water out of it every 4 casts ? but, I get nailed in the summers with that tied on!
  10. So sick!!!!!!! Love it!
  11. Shakeyhead I’m safely guessing? Incredible numbers
  12. Trust me, I know. I subscribe to your channel and it’s just good ol’ catching. Even rods too ?
  13. Congrats man!!!
  14. @Bluebasser86So Blue, are thinking about joining the Googan Squad anytime soon?! Haha
  15. Your response just gave my stubborn mind a “eureka moment”. Not hard to do these days ? thanks Catt
  16. Catt, I tried punching from shore for the first time a couple weeks ago and I couldn’t punch all the way thru. I was using a 3/4 ounce tungsten weight. Since I was casting far from shore do I need heavier weights to account for all of the line creating flatter angles? Hope I’m making sense.
  17. I remember when a few of them started out with videos geared for beginner fishermen. Wished they would’ve stayed true to their roots because this over commercialization on pushing their new brand is getting so obnoxious. It’s a lot of flash and push-marketing that’s really lost my respect for a “squad” of popular Youtubers who just hit ‘copy and paste’ on other brand’s soft plastics. Nothing innovative at all here. I’ll only say one positive note. And I strongly believe this. I think they are role models for early generations and inspire younger anglers to get excited for a sport that needed to attract millennials to stop playing Fortnite and experience the outdoors.
  18. Baits I can’t live without: 3” grubs (Ron’s Craw, White, Pumpkinseed) TRD and Roboworm Ned Worms ZOOM finesse and trick worms (candy bug, any watermelon combos) 4”-5” Senkos (Christmas, GP w/ Blk Fk) Zoom Ultravibe Speed Worms (Cali 420) Gitzit Tubes (Brown Craw) Yamamoto Shad-Shad Worm (Blue Pearl Silver) 3” Gulp! Alive Minnows Lucky Craft 1.5 (Black Moss) White Chatterbaits
  19. Have some 10” Culprits, Ol’Monsters, and Powerworms but wasn’t sure if a 4/0 Offset Gamma G-Lock was the best choice. Any recommendations?
  20. I fish a ton of pressured ponds and the summer can be hit or miss sometimes. What works for me usually is an 1/8 oz Texas-rigged 7” Power worm (Purple or Junebug) to start. It’s really effective at night if you’re able. Fast-action tip and braid help you feel bite detections when it’s dark outside. You’ll be amazed how acute your senses become when you’re not depending on watching your line If that doesn’t work, try a 4” Weightless Texas-rigged stick worm. I just don’t fish the stick worm at night because you can’t line watch. Oh and my headlights are always off, until I have a fish on.
  21. The General has been phenomenal this year. My #1 producer and has worked everywhere. The Zoom Ultravibe is a close second for me. Matter of fact, I use the Ultravibe as a search bait in the summer because I work it so aggressively. Then, I’ll drop a weightless tx-rigged or wacky General (depending on weed cover) when they reveal their haunts for that subtle follow up, if needed
  22. Bass and bluegills are still ‘catch and release only’
  23. Black Jitterbug, followed by a Livetarget Hollow Sunfish
  24. That exact model and color has nearly given me heart attacks from massive top water strikes on hot, summer nights. Gurgle, gurgle, gurgle.... pause...BOOM!!!!!
