  1. Good luck! Please share the make and model of that bad boy. Starting my list to Santa.....
  2. Hate to be negative, but the Pond Magic spinnerbait’s skirts fall apart so easily. I’ve converted to the War Eagle finesse spinnerbaits and will never go back. Terrific lures for beginners too
  3. @Fried Lemons one of the coolest fishing reports I’ve come across this year. I am partial towards big kitties. I bet that Blue that snapped your line was a beast of a fight! Did you see the head on that thing? Nice fish, Blue. I thought you weren’t a crank bait guy lol. Cool to see pics of the eyes going after the squarebills
  4. Went opening week during their catch-and-release season. Olive wooly buggers were money!
  5. Day 1 - drifted the Colorado River. Hoppers all day in late September. Voracious topwater action all day! Landed about 30 brownies! Day 2 - drifted the Roaring Fork into Glenwood Springs. Streamers toward the bank. Landed about 25 bows and brownies! One had a sculpin in its mouth still! Surreal

  6. 6th Sense divine swim jig (Shad Citrus) w/ Rage Tail Menace (Glacier) with the appendages positioned vertically. Fun bait to throw!
  7. As an avid grub angler, you absolutely nailed it in this reply
  8. Baby 1- is an excellent recommendation while starting off and it’s how I caught that bass in my Avatar
  9. What did the cat take? Awesome pic
  10. You beat me to it! Speed Worm
  11. Thanks man! We confirmed that it’s a Rio Grande Cichild.
  12. My girl caught a bunch of bluegills and a weird looking fish this morning. Any one know the species?
  13. I have enough tackle to supply my children for their lifetime too??.
  14. Lol I don’t. I was embellishing to prove a worthless point. I do equate it to when I used to collect sports cards and comic books though. So maybe it’s more of a hobby of being a lure collector. I don’t care why I do it and neither does my girlfriend haha
  15. I’m with @A-Jay because buying new tackle makes me happy. And when I’m stir crazy from this extreme heat lately, I’ll pull the bins full of unopened bags of soft plastics from underneath my bed and imagine what I can combine them with as trailers or what they look like underwater Why? Because that also makes me happy
  16. Received the 2.4” and 3” (both in 3/8oz) today. I think these are not only going to work for these highly pressured urban LMB, but excellent brown trout, walleye, and crappie lures too. I’m really digging the detail and small lures are king where I fish. Awesome little baits!!
  17. I’ve owned the 3” version for almost two years and that lure has had far more bites than any other topwater lure I own. I’ve had fish do acrobatic stunts to crush this gem. The 3.5” should add a little more bulk and weight for my shore casting haunts. Everyone dogs the Livetarget Squarebill Bait ball series lure too, but that’s been my #1 producing hard lure. It’s cool with me
  18. Thanks Tom. Would you retrieve the ned worms subsurface while twitching the rod tip?
  19. Awesome feedback here. Any particular colors that you’re partial to in these situations? Roboworm makes a “Arizona Dragonfly” worm that I plan on trying this method with next time. It’s light blue and translucent
  20. I respect that. I started fly fishing years before bass fishing, so that mindset is engrained in me still, probably to my demise. I’m known to get tunnel vision on matching the hatch. It’s fun for me, but I wouldn’t say weird haha
  21. I ordered one from TW and it should be here tomorrow. I’ll let you know if I have any positive experiences with it. It looks good on paper
  22. Any thoughts? Should I add them to my arsenal of drop shot plastics? I absolutely love the Maxscent General so I’m a firm believer already with their scented lineup.
