Beltzville is a really fun lake to fish though, I personally think it's easier to fish than Nock. I've never been skunked at Beltzville yet, it seems something is always willing to bite! My buddy and I placed 3rd in a tournament there last year, it was probably the most enjoyable tournament I've fished last year. The fish are rarely the size of Nock's, but they'll fight hard. It can be fun to fish the lake's clear water, especially in spring when sight fishing. Lots of structure and I love fishing Beltzville's deep water! Most of all though, I love running my skeeter from one end of the lake to the other in seconds, unlike putting around Nockamixon with my ten horse and running 3 or 4 miles is a huge commitment. There aren't many places to run my bass boat around south east PA, so it's nice to take it out when I get a chance here or there. The lake's got huge pickerel too... But I don't think I've landed any bass larger than 3 pounds yet!
