  1. Hey at least you had one follow it! Don't worry about it, it's definitely a learning curve that takes practice! Keep it up!
  2. I just turned 16 last week and was wondering if it was worth it to buy a lifetime fishing license or just renew it every time is expires? Thanks!
  3. Believe me, it's not too big, I caught 4 fish this weekend that were all 8-12 inches on a spinnerbait.
  4. To me I like the action of wacky more. If I know I'm at a high risk of getting caught up I will fish texas but if it's just rocks on the bottom, i'll 90% opt for wacky.

  6. I totally agree. I bought a few Flambeau boxes and now I just throw them in a normal backpack and walk anywhere I want. Keeps my hands free all the time and much easier to carry.
  7. The ones that ZMan makes are pretty good. I think they are called the CrusteaZ
  8. I HIGHLY recommend the Eye Surrender ESE sunglasses with the Amber lense. Amber lense is the best if you only can get one set, because they are great in certain conditions but also are not bad in any conditions, making them pretty good all around. They are $60 but peform like $250 sunglasses. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Eye_Surrender_ESE_Sunglasses/descpage-ESES.html
  9. Like many others, I recommend you stand a few feet away from the bank so the fish don't see you, and I also recommend you go really slow. Ik it can be painful but it is necessary. Maybe a Ned Rig, Dropshot, or even a 4in wacky senko.
  10. Personally, I always prefer a T-Rig because like Turtle135 said, it goes in and out of grass and mat much smoother, making my day a whole lot easier. Sometimes I will put one of those tungsten weights the the skirt on it if I think it is necessary.
  11. Hi all, I have a Shimano Curado 201HG that I bought last year at Cabela's and about 1/4 of the way through my 3hr fishing session this past weekend it started to make an odd clicking sound when reeling in my spinnerbait and chatterbait. Any suggestions on how to fix it/what it could be? I read it could possibly be a faulty anti-reverse bearing. Thanks!

    Trd Ned Rig

    Thanks, that helps a lot!
  13. Does anyone know of a tackle shop in the Bay Area that sells freshwater lures, line etc? I can't seem to find a quality one anywhere because they are all about saltwater.
  14. Oh ok. I've just used it this [ast week until I can get some 10lb braid and some flouro
  15. Hi guys, I've had success with many different lengths of Senkos in my life, whether it was 6inch or 4inch or even 3inch and I was wondering what your favorite or go to length senko is and why?

    Won't hinder action?

    Trd Ned Rig

Does anyone have any tips to put the TRD on the hook straight? It always has these little bumps or it is curved in one area for me. Other than that, I've had great success, especially today!
  18. Is P-Line Flouroclear sensitive?
  19. Thanks. I just cut down my leader a little bit so I don't have to feel so many bumps! Haha
  20. It's a M/H casting rod. Sorry forgot to mention that.
  21. I've started using fluorocarbon leaders instead of straight braid and have been experiencing my connector knot hitting my guides because they are microguides. Is this a problem? How can I fix this? Thanks! (btw I'm using a blood knot with 20lb braid and 12lb fluoro)
  22. Hi all, I don't know which #test I should put on my Shimano Sahara 2500 for light lures like ned rigs or drop shots. I'm thinking 15# braid to a 8# flouro leader. Could I also use 20# braid? Thanks.
  23. NOOOOO!!! I bought it from Tackle Warehouse but I got a $50 gift card for Bass Pro Shop's for my birthday that I ended up using on lures.
  24. Ended up buying the St. Croix Premier. Thanks everybody!
  25. My Sahara is 2500 sized MY reel is 2500 sized and I'm intending to throw the lighter stuff, such as ned rigs, very small t-rigs, etc.
