  1. I know EXACTLY what you are talking about. Something else I do while I'm working is go out to my service van to get a part or a tool and to make the most of my walk out there I try to think of other items I will need and so I load up with tools and parts and when I get back to the work site I realize I forgot the item I was actually needing. Very frustrating.
  2. That if you fish braid around metal docks and rocks it will be cut like a hot knife through butter.
  3. Popular opinions you don't agree with are opinions???
  4. Maybe I missed it but I didn't think the definition of the list was "top lakes for catching your PB Florida Strain Largemouth Bass". I thought it was more about top fisheries that produce quantity and quality bass for that region during tournaments....
  5. Yes, it is pointless to fish against a cheater. Lake records come easy for the "single greatest bass anglers that has ever fished" smh Thanks for bringing this old thread up!
  6. Yee-haw! I hope yall live it up! I hope one day to have a similar story to tell. I guess yesterday was your birthday so happy belated Birthday.
  7. I need to go back and finish reading the long article. I kept having problems with it loading yesterday.
  8. So do you think he has caught his share of big bass legitimately? He obviously didnt use his snag-rig while fishing with others...
  9. Its hard to imagine living with that much stress, knowing that at any moment all your lies and scams could be found out.
  10. Lots of news....?
  11. You're probably right about that. Somebody took the opportunity to troll for awhile....or maybe we should call it snag.
  12. He's replying to almost all of the comments on the YouTube video. He thinks he's real cute smarting off to everyone.
  13. After all the talk about Cavitron buzzbaits I pulled the trigger on a couple. I bought about a dozen jigs from Bayou Bug Jigs when they ran their 50% sale awhile back. This is a swim jig. Some finesse jigs. A couple 3/4 football jigs. Some flipping jigs.
  14. Me and a buddy fished a known big bass lake Fri night hoping to hook a hawg. It was very windy and only slowed some at about 3 am. I almost struck out but managed this spotted bass on my night time spinnerbait. Operating my 10' bass raider at night with 18 mph winds takes some considerable concentration. We did find wind breaks in the back of coves and that helped. My buddy did boat a 4 1/2 and I was pumped for him.
  15. I believe I am immune to it. I've spent countless hours in the woods as a boy and never got it. I had people tell me that I was walking on it or touching it. I've seen friends that had it and it looks awful. I had a cousin that answered the call of nature one time in the woods and used either poison ivy or poison oak leaves and it tore him up pretty bad.
  16. I've never had poison ivy or oak either....and I 100% agree with how terrible chiggers are. I used to live in OK where chiggers and ticks were a constant battle. I've lived in SE NM for over 4 years and have not been bit by either one....but the downside is we have very little water.
  17. Pants, boots, long sleeve shirt, and bug repellent. There are several varieties of poisonous plants, poison ivy, poison oak....
  18. Picture of my brothers, my dad, and myself as we began our Grand Caynon hike back in April. We hiked 16 miles the first day and camped at Cottonwood campground and then 14 miles the second day coming back out. Total elevation gain and loss from start to finish was more than 13,000 ft. One of those trips that we will never forget or regret. It was an awesome experience, and for sure the most endurance testing thing I've ever done.
  19. Sounds like a deal, there's always someone trying to swipe a piece....
  20. Thanks for sharing this! Makes me want to buy more YUM. Quality, good price, and MADE IN AMERICA??
  21. We caught a bunch of 12"-16" channel cat and a few 14"-16" bass and had them cleaned and fried before nightfall....and they were delicious.
  22. I did as well, the day before yesterday actually. I've got three that has been giving me fits. I do some wildlife nuisance removal on the side.
