  1. That was a good read thanks for sharing.
  2. My 4 year old daughter caught a nice slab.
  3. This 6 lb toad picked up a weightless fluke off the bottom and ran with it. #justapondbass
  4. Nice PB! I think you can be safe calling her 4 lbs
  5. I agree a person needs to take care of stuff, but I personally think making her pay for her own stuff or lecturing her on being rough on the reel is a bit much. A nice dinner at a restaurant for two can cost $40 - $100 and that's just for one evening. That reel cost a similar amount but yall have enjoyed three months worth of time together fishing. Sounds cheap to me.
  6. Amazon is over rated. I use them but definitely don't think they hung the moon. Sometimes when I find a product I like on Amazon I will see who the company is that sells it and look them up and deal directly with them so they will make more money and I can deal with a real human instead of a robot. 7. I'm 25 and as a young teenager I loathed the net back hats, but several years ago I noticed they were putting mesh back on some really nice hats and I fought it for awhile but eventually it hooked me too and now that's mostly all I wear.
  8. I kept losing bass at a pond so I was trying to bend the hooks out a little bit and accidentally broke one off. Right after that I had another blow up on it and finally stuck em!

  12. Hit 103° here today. Supposed to be 106° tomorrow
  13. This bass weighed 7.25 lbs on my scale. It was 24" long and 16" girth. According to your formula it said 7.68 lbs I would say that is pretty close!!
  14. Thanks man! It was thrilling! Believe it or not that's the only fish I've ever caught on a whopper plopper. I had just bought it here while back. Ugh that's always sickening!
  15. Had a couple great days fishing over the weekend. Saturday I took the bass raider out on a small Texas lake (200 acres) and caught a little over 20 bass and a couple crappie. At first I thought I wasn't going to even catch a 14"+ bass. They were all dinks. I was fishing a tx rigged worm, then a tx rigged fluke, and then a finesse jig with craw trailer and had caught about 16 bass, all small. Different times all throughout the morning I had threw a loon whopper plopper because I had a good feeling about it but hadn't had one taker. Then all of the sudden while bringing along side a patch of grass it got sucked under. I set the hook and tried my best to turn her but she swam directly into a tree and wrapped up. I gave my rod to my BIL and I all but dove under water for it. Some how it manged to stay on and I managed to untangle her and get her in the boat. It's the biggest bass on a public lake that I have ever caught. 7.25 lbs and 24" long. I ended up switching over to a black Cavitron buzzbait and caught 4 more for a total 5 fish weight of 17.25 lbs all on topwater.
  16. I got hotter today while fishing than I possibly ever have. Thankfully I had enough water with me but my head started pounding and my skull had tingles running all over it and started feeling sick. Feeling better now but it wasn't fun that's for sure.
