If you want to look at the ad specific for your store, then go to bass pro website, go to your store, and click on the most current sales flyer, the get on the water flyer. Look at the website address at the top of your browser. It should read something like: https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/online-catalogs?catalogCode=BassPro/Mrn_20_47_tab The number after the 20, in this case 47 is your store number. Now go back to the link that BT Syndrome provided and delete the number after the 20 and replace it with your specific store number. Bam now you have the exact flyer for your store. I would agree that there aren't too many deals to be had. Maybe the line deal. That's it though.

From your experience would the 51 transducer give good performance in shallow water? (less than 50') I would hate to spend $600 on a unit and be unhappy with the performance

My understanding from reading on other forums was that people were having issues with changing transducers, even though they should be compatible. Things like side vu and down vu were not working correctly after changing the ducer

I did some further research as well, looks like some guys that are typically in shallow salt water situations say that they are unhappy with the transducer performance when shallow (less than 50 feet). Of course this is all just from reading some forums on the hulltruth. Looks like BPS is going to be douping a lot of people into buying a sonar that won't match the application they are going to use it for. Unless someone can convince me otherwise, I think I will be staying away from the 94sv even though it is a fantastic deal. Too bad they don't have it for the 93sv as well...

He is right, it does come with a different transducer. the 94 comes with a CV 51 transducer while the 93 comes with a CV 52 transducer. The Garmin website makes it sound like both will still mark fish with 2D sonar. Here are the specs for both transducers. Can someone translate what they mean? I thought this was going to be a lock for purchasing this, but now I am not so sure... CV 51: CHIRP Mid-band (80-160 kHz); ClearVü/SideVü CHIRP 260 kHz (245-275 kHz) & 455 kHz (445-465 kHz) CV 52: CHIRP High Wide (150-240 kHz); ClearVü CHIRP 455 kHz (425-485 kHz) & 800 kHz (790-850 kHz)

Hello all, looking at purchasing a new fish finder from Bass Pro during their spring classic event. I have a Lund Mr Pike 17 ft boat and currently have a Garmin Echomap 54 on the bow with a Humminbird 798SI on the dash, but the plan is to sell the humminbird for cash for the new finder. Some requirements are that if I sell the current Humminbird I will need SI on the new finder. I would also like live mapping, GPS, and down view. Finally, would like to keep it $600 or under. Options: 1. Garmin echoMap 94sv CHIRP, comes with a free $150 Lake Vu card, and qualifies for their $50 triple crown bonus. 2. Lowrance Hook2 Tripleshot7. Does not have live mapping, but has everything else, I would get the base mapping model. Also qualifies for $50 bonus card. 3. Humminbird Helix 7 SI GPS G2. Live mapping, best SI out of the bunch, but smaller screen than the Garmin. Let me know which unit you would go with and why! Thanks!

Are there sometimes sales that don't appear in the flyer? For example, I've been looking at the walleye angler rod (yes I fish for walleye as well as bass haha) and was hoping it would go on sale for the classic, but it's not in the flyer. Aren't normally all the BPS rods on sale during this time, to go along with the trade in? I would have to agree with everyone else though, besides the PQ for $50 and it's the discontinued version at that, the sale leaves more to be desired.
