  1. That was great I am setting here at work and just about fell out of my chair. ;D
  2. When I was around 4 my family was crappie fishing at Cave run Lake off my Grandfather's old Ranger. My Mom leans back to make a cast when she comes forward she looks out and the bobber hook and sinker aren't flying out to the spot she tried for. She turns around looks behind her doesn't see anything so she reels up and starts looking around about that time she looks right at me and hanging from my right ear is her hook with minnow still on it flipping around. She starts to panic and my Dad walks over to cut it off. She walks up beside him and all I say very comely is and I quote "Mommy you hooked me." :
  3. I was about to skip this post but I am glad I took a look. Being stuck at work all night it is great to see any fishing at all.
  4. I go with a spinnerbait 90% of the time. It is a personal preference for me. I feel more comfortable with it and have had more success with one. If I am going for a deeper retrieve or the fish just aren't hitting a spinnerbait I will change it up then.

  19. When I was growing up my Grandparents owned a house boat on Cave Run Lake. I can't remember a time when I didn't fish. I can remember using the my Snoopy pole to pull in crappies while setting on the front of that boat and getting mad when I wasn't allowed to go when my Dad and uncle would go out in the Ranger fishing.
