When I was around 4 my family was crappie fishing at Cave run Lake off my Grandfather's old Ranger. My Mom leans back to make a cast when she comes forward she looks out and the bobber hook and sinker aren't flying out to the spot she tried for. She turns around looks behind her doesn't see anything so she reels up and starts looking around about that time she looks right at me and hanging from my right ear is her hook with minnow still on it flipping around. She starts to panic and my Dad walks over to cut it off. She walks up beside him and all I say very comely is and I quote "Mommy you hooked me." :
I go with a spinnerbait 90% of the time. It is a personal preference for me. I feel more comfortable with it and have had more success with one. If I am going for a deeper retrieve or the fish just aren't hitting a spinnerbait I will change it up then.
LM 5 lbs caught on a white and red double willowleaf strike king spinnerbait in July 07 at a private lake in New York. It was mid day and the water was clear and partly cloudy conditions.
Mine is Borders Sporting Goods. The guy who runs the fishing dept. is in my local club. They also have a good selection keep everything pretty even with ordering online plus can get me most of the stuff I want if they don't have it in the store.
I would have to go with either Larry Nixon or Denny Braur. I think with both of these being in the sport for so long and all they have seen you could learn so much.
I play it, mafia wars, and a stupid game called Fish Wrangler. I get bored setting at work and play the stupid games on facebook and myspace all night.
a couple of my all time favorites
El Dorado with John Wayne and Robert Mitchum
Man's favorite Sport
